“I love Meijer! ❤ They typically have a great selection of UofL items to choose from, along with clothing and so much more. They also carry OCHS, Pittsburgh Steelers, WKU, and Green Bay Packers gear, so there’s usually something for everyone! In my case, they carry products and clothing from the teams that I love.
One of the things I really appreciate about shopping at Meijer is that I earn points with my purchases that I can use later. It makes me feel like my shopping is more of an investment in the future—I’m getting something I need or want now, while also getting something back in return.”

“Very nice store, has most anything one would need. Fresh produce, meats, cheese, dairy, frozen items, canned items and many extras. Easy in and out. Like most Aldi only one check out open, so be prepared to wait a bit, but it isnt terrible. Prices are reasonable. I'm a committed Lidl shopper so it will take some time to get use to. Since Lidl is not located where I moved to.”
“Well placed items and honestly - the main reason I gave All Stars is due to the SUPER FRIENDLY, CUSTOMER ORIENTED fella that checked me out. While I don't know why he was wearing a mask, whatever. But he was a young fella, big ole fro type hair (red) and was one of The Friendliest people I've come across in public in Many a months! That fella needs an incredible raise and promotion; so that he in turn, can advise on proper Customer Service to other and future Team Members. ?? ”

“I love this dollar general! Everyone that works here is always so helpful and friendly. I love how close and convenient they are. I'm limited on time most days and don't always have enough time to go to town to the bigger stores like Wal-Mart so this store being so close to the house has been so convenient. The only thing I'd change is I wish they had a small produce or grocery area like some other dollar generals do.”

“I go to this particular Dollar store because they have handicap parking AT THE DOOR!! One store is about one mile from my home, but has H parking several feet away from entrance. The one employee was very helpful in a friendly way. I prefer this store!”

“I'm really gonna miss this place when it closes. I grew up coming here with my mom on Saturdays. We would cut coupons together. My best memories as a kid revolve around getting bunny bread and that soap with the clown fish on it. I love the consistnecy. The store has not changed. It reminds me of when the world was more safe and simple. I love their rotisserie chicken a lot.”

“Get gas at Kroger a lot because of the fuel points rewards. I do wish they would match some of the cheaper places in town though. Sometimes you have to have at least 30 cents a gallon in rewards to save anything as opposed to buying at another gas station in town. Some stations stay 20 to 30 cents cheaper than Kroger. But if you can get it with $1 a gallon off, you can't get a better deal .”
“My wife and I love Meijer, and when we moved to Georgia back in 2015, it was one of the things we missed most. Meijer has a large selection of pretty much anything you might want at competitive prices in line with other grocery stores. We still travel a few times a year and saw the sign for this Meijer location on our way through Owensboro while heading up North to visit my wife's family. It is one of our regular stops to stock up on non-perishable items on the way home, and we still find it to be a great place to shop. They have a large fresh produce section with quality items, and the meat and seafood departments are big and good. We try to pack a cooler with us to pick items up on the way home when it is functional to do so. My wife loves to browse the health and beauty section, but she never fails to find ladies' clothing items on clearance or special and picks up new items on virtually every visit we make. But, the best aspect of shopping at Meijer is the helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. On our last visit, we used the self-checkout lanes, and I was having difficulty using my MPerks card. I hit the button for assistance, and the lady who arrived to help took full ownership of the problem. While I told her it was not a problem and probably a temporary glitch she called two other staff members to help find a resolution for us and make it right. That is service that is above and beyond any other store we visit. Our only problem with Meijer is that they do not have a store in Dawsonville, GA, or anywhere closer to us than Bowling Green, KY. If for no other reason, we continue to patronize Meijer due to their wonderful customer service and their great staff.”
