Not just worst energy company but worst company ever! First technician cut our gas off on Friday afternoon, saying our pipes failed a pressure test but he couldn’t find the leak. Then he left my wife, my 1 year old child and myself with no heat, hot water, or gas stove for the weekend.Monday they sent a second technician. He said our furnace need to be grounded. We had hvac come out on Tuesday and ground the furnace.Third technician came out and said we needed our meter to be grounded from the electrical box. It’s going on Wednesday and our home still has no gas for heat, hot water, or stove.Neither of the first technicians even described what needed to be done.This is the worst company with the worst customer service PERIOD. If I could leave a negative 5 star review, I would do it because that’s what Atmos deserves.ABSOLUTE GARBAGE company. Get better and treat people better. Shouldn’t be in business.

Turned off our gas with no notice, called to see why it was turned off and they said they have no idea but they’ll have someone out tomorrow. Seriously??? Do better. Very unhappy with Atmos Energy in Paducah and do not recommend. Incredibly inconvenient. Cold shower for me tonight thanks Atmos!

They shut off my grandmother's gas without reason. They said there was a leak from a pipe that was shut off for 2 years. Nothing but scammers. They have tried this before.

November 2021 Atmos refused to come inside my home due to "COVID" to check an interior gas leak. In my area COVID numbers are low and I had attended an inside school event the night before with no masks required. They also refused to even check the exterior of the house without an adult present though on the phone they told me no one would have to be present as they couldn't go inside anyway. They turned off my gas which means no heat and no hot water for my house in below freezing temperatures. After I complained on the phone two technicians came back out to "reconnect" and had no idea I had ever complained of a gas leak. They stood without masks within 3 feet of me at my door. They turned the gas back on without ever checking for a gas leak.I called a plumber and they found a tiny leak from my gas logs. A lot of headache and safety concerns could have been avoided if Atmos would just do their job.
