About Bell's Tavern
Bell's Tavern is a small, historic site located in rural Kentucky, offering visitors a glimpse into the area's past. The site features the remaining fenced ruins of the original tavern, which was burned many years ago, with only partial rock structures and stones left to honor its history. Nearby, there is a nice park with a playground, shelter with a stage, grills, and bathrooms, making it a pleasant place for families. Visitors can enjoy the park's quiet atmosphere and check out the old ruins, which still showcase the size and construction of the original structure from the 1800s. The town surrounding the site is quaint and peaceful. Although the tavern was never fully rebuilt and the grand wooden structure was lost to fire, stories about its history and visitors are available online. The park also hosts events like the Bigfoot Festival, adding to its local charm and appeal for those interested in history and community gatherings.

Great little stop in Park City. When you go, make sure to walk across the parking lot and visit the little cemetery.

Beautiful park. We saw the Artimis Pyle Band here for a free concert. It's a wonderful place and very well kept.
