Carriss's Grocery is a hidden gem and quaint old country store providing a community, small-town vibe. It is an unexpected find and a great destination for a back road traveling excursion. The setting features a wood-burning stove and an old-school store selling handmade gifts, jams, candy, and cool hats. It is a wonderful lunch spot and a happy little place to be. The burgers are the best in Shelby County, top notch, a must-have, and some of the best ever had. The onion rings are really good and the food is great with lots of tasty options. The staff is amazing and wonderful. Be aware that space is a little tight, parking can get scarce during lunchtime, and calling ahead is not reliable.
You can go out to a restaurant and spend $30 on a burger and it won't be a satisfying as the burger and fries here super nice people really cool place perfect for a weekend family outing if you want a good burger this is the spot 👍

Best burger i have EVER had out. Loved the atmosphere. No menus . Old country store in the middle of nowhere lol. We will be back.

A must stop for food. Amazing cheese burger and onion rings. Anything you get fresh and homemade.
