“This is your old school country style food mart/cafe that you rarely find without getting into the more rural areas. I have passed by this old Convenient Food Mart store many times but finally made this stop after a recommendation by a close friend who is a big "foodie!" I knew a Meatloaf sandwich was going to be on the list so I went directly to the counter to pick one up, I also picked up a country ham sandwich and bottled water to eat in the front seat of my truck (there were no open seats available inside due to the local crowd occupying all the tables and seating), they were very busy. There was plenty of help, everybody was very helpful and friendly. The steam table had plenty of options for lunch or you can choose to have a deli sandwich made but the Meatloaf is piled high in a bun and it packs all the flavor you expect from a farmhouse kitchen table! I will be back soon and make this a regular lunch stop to try some of there other menu items when I am working in Shelbyville again!”
“Good store for its size. Retailers always tax their employees not to have a real solution to allow the finishing of stocking. Getting the product out to the shelf will sell, not sitting in boxes with the clerk overwhelmed.”

“We as a family use this pharmacy quite often. As a previous pharmacy technician when I was younger, I know how difficult and stressful this job can be dealing with insurance, doctors offices and patients can be very tricky when they have their arms tied. I just want to recognize a few of the technicians who are always cool calming collected no matter what the situation may bring. Chad, Jamie, Anya and Micshelle. If they’re not smiling, when they come to the window, they end up smiling during our time. People need to be recognized more often and need more good reviews on how hard they work instead of only looking at the bad Kroger Is a big pharmacy and not everybody is willing to get a job or work right now so I know it is rough but they keep everything Under control as well as never rushing a customer to get to the next. We are that very thankful for our Kroger pharmacy team. They deserve a little party or something for all that they do for everybody out and Shelby county! Pharmacist, I know you work hard as well and you always give your honest opinions and I always always trust what you say so thank you all so much!!! -DAXT”
“I’m so incredibly thankful for the Kroger pick up crew. I can always count on them to provide quick and accurate service. Ive never had a mixed up order but if I did I know they would make it right! Each and every person who brings the carts from the store, meet you at your car window with a smile and the best attitudes! With 3 kids and a full time job you can bet my trunk is a mess, I always say “excuse the mess” to which they always just brush off. I appreciate that kindness so much. Jacob especially has made an impression! His name tag says “the goat” and I would have to agree. He’s always got the biggest smile on his face, his customer service is top notch, and he’s incredibly kind. Thank you, Kroger pick up crew! You’ve made this moms life so much easier! Reasons for a 4 instead of a 5:
1) don’t try to call ahead for a pick up order, the phone has never been answered on our multiple attempts on different days.
2) space is a little tight and somewhat overwhelming at first
3) parking can get scarce during lunchtime, get there early!”
