Booked this hotel based off of other online reviews, and was slightly disappointed. The room was very damp and musty - AC unit wouldn't get below 69 (set 67 to help with humidity). Beds weren't queens or even full size (booked a king originally and was given a 2 double bed room), beds had flat sheets tucked in instead of fitted sheets (?) And everything is fairly dated. Light fixtures were dusty and half not working.
Great location, just wishing things were updated and property functioning. Probably the *better* option in the area, but probably won't be booking a stay here again. So many hotels in this area, just none updated!
Front desk was very helpful and friendly!

They have the most amazing truck parking. Tons and I mean tons of room. Denny’s within walking distance was a bonus.
Hotel was great. Little dated but super clean. Pet friendly to boot. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Waffles were wonderful.
Very budget friendly too. Great job staff.

Not too bad. If u just want an inexpensive, quiet,no frills place to stay while visiting Louisville and don’t mind being 20-25 minutes away from downtown, then it is ok. Right off Interstate 65, so easy access. The rooms are clean but paint and furniture is a bit dated. Ms. Kelli at the front counter is very nice and welcoming. Free breakfast. Pool is currently covered.

One of the nicest Best Westerns I have stayed at. The staff was so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We stayed here for the Kentucky Derby and they went above and beyond for the experience with Derby gifts and decor, even kept the breakfast open longer the day after the derby. The location was perfect for the derby as well. Will definitely be staying here for every Kentucky Derby in the future.

My biggest issue with the hotel was our room smelt of damp mold, so much so i made a run to Walmart and got some febreze to cancel some of it out. The rooms are big and the breakfast was better than most. Eggs, biscuits, waffles. Location is great for road trips, out of town but close to a Walmart.

I called to make a reservation and they require that you pay for your room at the time of your reservation. I was not too happy about that, but was willing to go ahead and make the reservation. I asked about the cancelation policy and was told that it was nonrefundable. I admit that I became irritated and told Kevin that was insane. He then told me he wanted to keep it professional and hung up on me..... really professional Kevin!

We stopped on our way down to Florida just to sleep. It smelt clean and the rooms seemed pretty clean for the most part. I took away a star because the water was pure chlorine, it burned to wash my face (which could just be the water in the area) and there wasn’t a mattress cover or fitted sheet on the mattress which I found weird. Just a sheet that wasn’t big enough to even tuck under the mattress which we found strange and the sheets were itchy. Aside from that, front desk was very nice and we slept good once we were asleep.

Not far off of interstate 65 close to Louisville but not in the city plenty of tractor trailer parking.
