“Service was excellent considering we did not have appointment. Whole process probably 30 minutes. Included blood work, x-ray & instructions. Vet & assistant friendly & explained what needed to be done & asked our approval & quoted how much it would cost before performing tests. Third visit, each visit a good experience, glad we found them. Would highly recommend.”

“I know that when I have an appointment scheduled for my pets, I will be seen within a few minutes of my appointment. The vets are all very caring and patient with my pets, and we have been very happy with the overall care they receive and the cost of that care.”

“Even with other vets closer to my house, I go out of my way to go to Bannon Woods. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Facilities are clean. I recommend them to anyone because I trust them with my pet.”

“My family used Shively Animal Hospital for years, hated that place! Always a Long wait, Dr MaryJane Fush and the rest of her staff being rude as humanly possible. Absolutely ZERO compassion for the animals. THANK GOD I found Bannon Woods Veterinarian Hospital!!! Every member of their staff, from the receptionist to the Vet's themselves were very informative and friendly. Even without an appointment, these wonderful people were able to see both my dogs and the prices were better than Shively Animal Hospital also. Better service, Better Care, I'm Never going back to Shively ever again! Bannon Woods has earned my services from this day forward! Just make sure you make an appointment first. I'll remember that myself next time. I am highly grateful for them taking me anyways, they could have scheduled me an appointment and sent me on my way, but they didn't. And with the office visit, shots and vaccines for both dogs and even flea treatments and testing, I was in and out in under an hour and less than $450. (Again, remember that is for 2 dogs)”

“We had to switch because our vet retired, we've heard good things about DAC so we switched. Our dog recently had a growth removed and they did an excellent job. Great follow up, everything was perfect, including the price.”

“Not sure why this clinic got such low ratings because I highly recommend this vet! She found a tumor on my kitty giving him an exam & pretty much saved his life.”

“Dr. BOBB has been caring for our pets since 1972. He cates for our Lizzy ike she was his own and Lizzy loves him. When she came out of ICU a couple years ago he was as excited and happy as this momma. She will be 14 years old thanks to his great care. Thank you Dr Bobb.”

“We adopted a dog that the previous owner was unable to care for appropriately. Because of some problems getting his shot records, we opted to go to Dixie Animal Hospital where the previous owner had taken him. It is a little bit of a drive for us, but as it turned out, it was worth the drive. Our dog is a little skittish and afraid of other dogs even though he is larger than most even as a puppy, so they let us take him right from the parking lot to a waiting room - an option a lot of other places don't have/offer. Because he barked at the vet assistant who came to take him to the Doc for shots, they had us put a muzzle on him (not a problem). By the time he received his shots and cam back to us the muzzle was gone. He made the vet his friend and all was right with the world even though he needed several shots. Because he went to the same vet where he had been treated before, they could use his history to guide the shots he was given, otherwise we would have had to start at zero. We have his updated shot records and he is ready to go. Parking is more than adequate, but there isn't a lot of grass to let your dog (or other pet) relieve him/herself before walking in the door. Ours spend his time sniffing, but thankfully had no accidents. Its a big place and they have a pet shop with pet supplies (not pets for sale as far as I am aware) in the building adjacent to the waiting room. And we were also able to get his monthly meds (heartworm, flea/tick) when we checked out. Everyone was great, prices were good, and our pet was not traumatized by the experience. It is a little out of the way for us which is why they only earned 4 stars. They really were great!”
