“Motel is ran down and out of date as far as amenities but the staff is cool, laid back and understanding (helpful), they only take cash, and the deposit is only $20. Over all it was a good place to stay.”

“I stayed because my apartment flooded and maintenamadw a mess of my apartment. The lady in the front was patient and kind even though I woke her up with my later arrival to get a room, the tub is just the right size to de stress but not fall asleep and sink in, I didn't get bit by anything, the bathroom was clean and towels weren't worn, stained or stinky, I felt safer than in most hotels I've stayed in. My only iffy part is no chain lock on the door so I put the chair under the door knob, there was a safe lock on the door so I was fine and i understand why the locks are like that. People think because it's "on the cheaper side" it's convenient to use whatever drug and stay over check out time and the owner has to be able to gain access. Replacing doors and locks and frames aren't cheap by any means. I will go back and recommend.”

He treated us like family from the second we met him and his breakfasts and drinks are to die for!! The house is in a great location and everything is very comfortable. Lots of space for 3 couples and literally every detail you could imagine is handled. You can tell that this is Allen’s passion project. We will definitely be back!!Rooms: The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms have everything you could need. The living space is a great place to hang out with a living, dining and bar area. The perfect place to stay!Food & drinks: The breakfasts are gourmet and delicious. Allen makes amazing cocktails and will arrange wine or bourbon tastings.”

“Jeff and Alicia with valet are phenomenal! The hotel is beautiful, the only thing preventing the last star for me is that I travel with a service dog and there is no grass area right here for me to take him. Comes with the downtown area for the most part, lots of interesting shops and good food.Walkability: Everything seems to be in a good waking distance.Food & drinks: Lots of food and drink options in walking distance.”

“We stayed here while visiting distilleries in Louisville! We were very impressed. The rooms were super clean, service was exceptional and the “old fashion hour” each evening was an added bonus! If we are ever back up in the Louisville area we will be sure to stay here again!”

“Awesome experience! We were at a sister hotel that wasn’t our vibe, so walked over to the Moxy to check out their availability. We were greeted by Kaylee who made the transfer seamless for us! Cant say one negative thing about the hotel or staff, everyone was great! Cassie helped us checkout and went above and beyond. Oh and the Tacos and drinks are top notch!”

“Unforgettable StayLast week, I had the pleasure of staying at the 21C Museum Hotel in Louisville, and it turned out to be an experience I felt compelled to share. In a comedic turn of events, I mistakenly booked my reservation in a completely different state. Upon realizing my blunder, I braced myself for a complicated ordeal, especially considering the hotel was hosting a large event at the time. However, what followed was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment I explained my situation, the staff at Louisville’s 21C Museum Hotel went above and beyond to accommodate me. Their efficiency and willingness to help were truly remarkable, transforming what could have been a frustrating experience into one of the most memorable stays of my life.A standout mention must be made for Kevin, who was phenomenal in his support. Not only did he ensure I wasn’t charged for the mistaken booking elsewhere, but he also made certain that every aspect of my stay at Louisville was seamless and enjoyable. The attentiveness and care with which he addressed my situation were exceptional, making me feel valued and taken care of.Despite the bustling activity due to the event, the staff managed to put everything together for me on such short notice. This level of service and dedication is rare and deserves every bit of recognition. The 21C Museum Hotel in Louisville didn’t just offer me a place to stay; they provided me with an unforgettable experience that goes beyond just hospitality. It’s a reminder of how impactful genuine care and excellent service can be to travelers. For anyone looking for more than just a hotel stay, but an experience that leaves a lasting impression, 21C Museum Hotel Louisville is the place to be. My heartfelt thanks to Kevin and the entire team for their exceptional service. Your efforts have not gone unnoticed, and I can’t wait to return.”

“A gem of a boutique Hotel. Wonderful service from the start. Thomas Landry met us from our car and was very friendly and informative and took us and our liggage to our room. The rooms are lovely with very big bathrooms - sockets are at the side of the headboard. The Decor and artwork are impressive throughout. And don’t miss out on the Cocktails in the Swan bar/restaurant.”

“The hotel is very nice. The location is great and the service has been fantastic. I had some app issues trying to get an early check in but I went to the front desk and they were accommodating.Food in the area is great and there are tons of places to grab good food or drinks. The parking is expensive but is clearly called out on their website.Rooms: My room was nice, they gave me a corner room with lots of windows. The bed & sheets were comfortable. Bathroom and room were clean. There is a fridge and 2 bottles of water in the room, no microwaves.Walkability: Lots of stuff around, their website says 100 places to eat and I'd believe it. Most of the urban bourbon trail is closed Monday / Tuesday but a lot of restaurants and places to drink. Louisville Slugger and KFC Stadiums are within walking distance.Food & drinks: Lots of food and drinks around. The Porch on site and their bar are both good. The money bread at porch was very satisfying. Cocktails are ~15.”

“Awesome location in Downtown town area. Easy walk to distilleries and great restaurants. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms and common areas clean and nicely accommodated. Breakfast is just okay. If you have to grab something quick it is fine, but would recommend trying one of the other breakfast places in downtown. Our room was missing closet door, the toilet handle wasn't working and we were locked out of our room for about 45min while a nice lady from the front desk tried to reset it.”

“Quiet, comfy, clean, food was good but more importantly the people were friendly and extremely welcoming and kind. It was a great experience in a quiet area outside of the bustle. They were decorated for the holidays, and made our stay easy, thank you! Pet friendly!”

“Me and my boyfriend are truck drivers from California and this was our first time getting a hotel while being on the road. We were stuck nearby because our pickup wasn’t for the next day so we decided to stay here. The rooms were super clean and smelled super fresh! The area is very quiet which helped us relax a lot easier! The front desk workers are very helpful and friendly and gave us two water bottles before checking into our rooms. The water pressure is amazing and doesn’t take long to warm up. The only issue was that there was no truck parking inside so we had to park on the street, but it wasn’t too much of a big deal because we were able to see our truck from our window. Most of the hotels nearby don’t have truck parking either. Definitely booking another room if we end up back in the area again!”

“Absolutely loved my stay at Tru. Being someone that travels for work, I appreciate this hotel. Clean. Quite. And their breakfast was to die for. I actually looked forward to waking up for their breakfast.”

“Conveniently located by live on fourth street. Rooms were very spacious and lovely. Started for a conference and was a bit disappointed with the coffee service (no refills or clean up through the morning). Hotel offers complimentary happy hour each day on the third floor with beer and wine options.”

“I would recommend staying here at any time I wasn't planning on getting a room for the the night but I was driving back to Michigan from my job and I wasn't that far so I started getting tired. I decided to get a room anyways. Stopped here. Front desk was very accommodating. Very friendly. Very pleasant. She explained everything to me about check out time when breakfast was where my room was. How to get there? The room was very clean. Nice. Comfortable breakfast was decent other than the apple juice tasting like water. I would highly recommend staying here. Very close to the highway also”

“The rooms are clean and set up to be very functional with lots of hooks, liquid soap, etc. Nothing fancy. The staff were fine. Many times they were on their phones or whatever but did get up to help when I approached. It didn’t bother me but definitely wasn’t the best service I’ve had. The area was not the safest option so I was little scared to get gas at night alone. Not too many restaurants or anything close by. I loved that they did have EV charging for my car.”

“Clean, well-maintained, room is a basic setup. Microwave, mini-fridge, small sofa, desk. The shower maintained hot water, had good pressure, and was spacious. Heavenly after a long day. King bed was comfortable, and pillows were fresh and fluffy. Good go-to.”

“Great hotel for our stay! We came into town for a quick girls weekend and didn't really have big plans. We loved that this hotel was close to all the big attractions in Louisville and had restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is very clean and modern. There were many things I really liked about this hotel:- comfy beds- nice long couch by the big window where you could chill - full closet area- microwave and mini fridge so I could bring home leftovers - water bottle filling stations and ice makers- friendly staff- easy to use and safe feeling parking garageThe one thing I didn't love that is important to me - privacy. No fan in the bathroom and you could hear a person BREATHING in there... not ideal at all. In addition we could hear people in other rooms having *a very good time*. Overall I'd recommend a stay here, especially if you had a room to your self or were sharing with a spouse. PS. I did not know pay for this hotel so I'm not sure how fair pricing was. My friend booked through her timeshare program.”

“Doug, the security guard, asked me if I needed anything. When I told him I was hoping to get some coffee, but the coffee shop was closed he went out of his to get a cappucino for me from the restaurant. So kind!”

“Very nice hotel, rooms are large and very comfortable. Close to the airport, looked like the offer a shuttle to the airport as well. My only complaint is don’t get a room on the highway side. It can be a little noisy with all the cars flying by. Other than that it was a wonderful ”

“At first glance the room looked very nice and clean. But after taking a closer look at things it did not seem that great. I found a weird sludge in the back of the fridge. I also found stains on the bedsheets and a blood stain and on a pillow. There was also hair and some dust on the couch. But on the good side, I thought that the bathroom was very nice and that the pool area is a lot better than I have seen in the past and what I expected.Noteworthy details: They have tables that can charge your phone with no cord which is cool and useful.”

“We stopped on our way down to Florida just to sleep. It smelt clean and the rooms seemed pretty clean for the most part. I took away a star because the water was pure chlorine, it burned to wash my face (which could just be the water in the area) and there wasn’t a mattress cover or fitted sheet on the mattress which I found weird. Just a sheet that wasn’t big enough to even tuck under the mattress which we found strange and the sheets were itchy. Aside from that, front desk was very nice and we slept good once we were asleep.”

“Fantastic, this TownePlace is a hidden gem. Immediately the staff is so welcoming and accommodating. I had a very late check in and was upgraded due to my status and the room was absolutely great. Comfy beds, nice kitchen space, CLEAN! It’s not a new Marriott by any means but it sure feels like it’s been taken care of. The General manager knows what she’s doing with the place. The town is quiet and has an absolutely beautiful view, pubs and restaurants down the street, and the Bridge walk at night is lovely. Great find and I’ll be sure to make this my new location when passing by. Book with confidence!Rooms: Great rooms, had a king suit which was fantastic, and a regular king room which had my needs.Nearby activities: Exploring the history of JeffersonvilleWalkability: Park and bridge walk right in front of location.Food & drinks: Lots of restaurant choices for a small town.”

“This is now my FAVORITE hotel! It was clean! It smelled good! It was in a good location that allowed for easy travel to nearby attractions. The staff were great! I was even able to catch the horses running next door!”

“I will start off by saying that this hotel is owned and operated by The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, which makes sense as it is on the campus. The hotel does not have the same amenities as a Hilton or a Marriott, but the rooms are clean.”

“The hotel was very nice and clean. Full sized refrigerator with a small kitchen. The bed was so comfortable. The only issue I had was checking in. I was by myself as a young female and the front desk man was less than professional. He was texting on his personal phone ti make sure my room was ready and making me wait until it was confirmed ready. I didn’t understand this whatsoever and I really felt like he was luring me to my room. I was too nervous to head up to my room alone so I left and waited for my husband and myself to return together at a later time. After all, our stay was great. The guy was just weird.”

“My stay at the Myriad Hotel was absolutely dreamy! The pool view room was so bright and airy, and I loved how they maintained the historic charm while keeping the decor chic and simple. The cocktails at Switchboard were so good, Celeste, the bartender, was fantastic- the girl can make a mean cocktail! The entire staff made my stay magical, and my room was spotlessly clean. Already planning my next visit! Highly recommend this hotel.”
