“My husband and I have stayed at quite a few bed-and-breakfasts over the years, and Louisville Bourbon Inn is by far the best.
The service was truly exceptional. Allen was an incredible host, and Chris was just as delightful. We were in the middle of a stressful move and Allen went out of his way to ensure our stay was peaceful, seamless, and completely worry-free. That level of thoughtfulness made all the difference.
Thank you for the extended hospitality and for being so genuinely gracious. We will absolutely be back and truly cannot wait to enjoy more of Allen’s amazing breakfasts.”

“Nice place with great staff...Rooms: Comfortable beds... Great water pressure in the shower.Noteworthy details: The lobby has activities for one or many. Billiards, janga game, foosball. There's a nice bar... Lots of TVs on the walls... Lots of seating for groups.”
“just left my third stay at this hotel. it’s simply the best. yes - the rooms are small! this is not somewhere you’d want to stay for extended time but for a long weekend it’s perfect. the staff is incredibly nice. the bar in the lobby is a VIBE. everything is walkable. the food available at the hotel is fast, fresh and affordable. I live in indy and a lot of concerts and comedians who skip us ending up in LOU and so thankful to have found this incredible hotel to stay at when that happens. for parking i recommend the wharf parking garage on witherspoon. it’s less than a 2 block walk and $25 a night.”
“This hotel was a step above awesome. The service is wonderful. The rooms are very nice andet me just say the bedding in this hotel is so comfortable. The only thing that I would want to change is the free continental breakfast they have during the week, I wish they had it during the weeknd too.”
“We stayed here last week and were greeted by Arthur, valet, who bent over backwards and then checked in with Anya who was awesome. The room was very nice and clean. The art museum is a definite plus, really interesting pieces.”

“The Brown, is, like others say, an incredible throwback in time. In its day, The Brown must have been completely spectacular, and many parts still are. The lobby is phenomenal. When you sit there you are almost transported to 1943- where the room would be buzzing with music, soldiers, smoke, drinks, and well dressed ladies. The hotel staff is great all around- very polite and accommodating. Elevators are good. Ballroom is nostalgic elegance- but needs some TLC. The location is decent, but not great, as it’s not near that much. The rooms *can* be an issue. Our first room had many defects- broken trim, large carpet stains, pealing wall paper, dirty doors, and worst of all, a very strong musty odor. The staff quickly moved us to a new room, and they made sure it wasn’t musty first. They also comped breakfast (after I asked). Thats all great, but the first room should have been checked and never booked to a customer in the first place. One strange thing- we have never seen toilets that are so low to the ground. What’s with that?? The food is decent; not the best, but seemingly good for the area. I am not a huge fan of the Hot Brown, but I guess others like it. On to the gym- it’s basic, and more of an afterthought. The gym is located on the 4th floor. That floor is really too beat up to show to customers. There is a rooftop deck on the 16th floor, which is nice, and most people don’t seem to know about. If you like nostalgia, period decor, and 1920’s architecture, you will love The Brown. My advice would be to inspect your room ASAP and change it if anything is wrong. In my personal opinion, the overall hotel needs some TLC. However, it is clearly not an easy property to maintain given how intricate and old it is. Hopefully The Brown will last, with some upgrades, for years to come. There are too few places like it anymore.”

“Jeff and Alicia with valet are phenomenal! The hotel is beautiful, the only thing preventing the last star for me is that I travel with a service dog and there is no grass area right here for me to take him. Comes with the downtown area for the most part, lots of interesting shops and good food.Walkability: Everything seems to be in a good waking distance.Food & drinks: Lots of food and drink options in walking distance.”
“We stayed here while visiting distilleries in Louisville! We were very impressed. The rooms were super clean, service was exceptional and the “old fashion hour” each evening was an added bonus! If we are ever back up in the Louisville area we will be sure to stay here again!”

“We stayed for one night about a week ago. It was such an amazing experience. Loved the service and the room. The bathroom was pretty spacious. It’s a very convenient location. We would absolutely stay here again.
Walkability: Walking distance to a lot of distilleries”
“The front desk lady was exceptional! I was here for a session about a job that was meeting in one of the conference rooms. The front desk lady that was on shift went above and beyond and was truly kind and so helpful!”

“Look. It's not Four Seasons, it's not Ritz-Carlton, it's not Hilton. You get what you pay for. I think by some of the reviews, people expect luxury rooms for value prices. But the rooms are clean and decent. There were no bugs, no bad smells. The kids were a bit disappointed that there was no pool, but we needed a room for a funeral, not a getaway.
The only negative I have was the breakfast. The orange juice was definitely off. And the bagels were like rocks. The food definitely needs some attention.
But we managed.”

“The check-in experience was quick and easy. The location was easy to find and had ample parking.
The room was nice. The beds were really comfortable and the shower had excellent water pressure. The coffee in the room was decent, but the lobby coffee was better.
The hotel was easy to find. There are no restaurants within walking distance, but several you can drive to. We used Doordash.
The breakfast was pretty good and had a few hot options, oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, cereal and plenty of breads and pastries. The muffins and scones were delicious! The employee working the breakfast area was knowledgeable and very kind.
We would stay there again when driving through.”
“My best friend and I went to a Louisville Kentucky for the underground lights. It was absolutely amazing. We brought our two dogs with us. The woman that checked us in was absolutely amazing. We really wanted it to queen size beds, but I was told there wasn’t any she found three that was available. The next day I was down by the desk and there was a gentleman working and he was not pleasant. He wasn’t rude, but he just didn’t have that welcoming hello how are things going? Are you enjoying your stay type attitude? I don’t know if he’s new or or if he’s shy and he still needs to come out of his Shell.”

“Nestled in the heart of downtown everything about the Omni has been great. We didn't get a chance to eat at Bob's Chop and Steakhouse located onsite, however, the staff was friendly, the rooms are luxurious and the amenities are awesome. Would definitely stay here again.”
“The rooms were extremely spacious, and recently remodeled, with several amenities. Breakfast was great, and the pancake machine worked just fine every morning. It is right by the airport, so bring ear plugs. The king bed was a little hard, and only had three pillows rather than four. They should add a sign on how to operate the automatic blinds, because we never could figure it out. Parking was odd, since there are only a few close spots, and then a giant lot that appears to be shared amongst several hotels. We did, however, have to report an electrical issue with room 419, as there was a burn mark on the switch, my phone shocked my when it was charging (never happened before), and a power back charged in about twenty minutes when it normally take a couple of hours. They said they would have it inspected.”

“Not bad, but not spectacular. Desk agents were efficient, not friendly or welcoming. They had a pitiful Christmas tree. Now that I think about it, the reason the desk agents stared so intently with out speaking/smiling every time I walked in, wasn't the massive buger I had smeared across my face unknowingly. They were traumatized by the sparsely decorated and lighted Christmas tree. They were subliminally alerting me that The Grinch was real and had not only taken the ornaments and lights, he was taking their warm Christmas joy night after night.”

“This is another place that I myself did not stay at this hotel but I did visit here for a few hours. This is where my oldest son and his family stayed at when they came in town for Christmas. Their room was a fairly decent size and there was some nice extras like a session where you could get free drinks with a special ticket for being a guest and a free breakfast and not quite a continental one at that. It is a very beautiful hotel especially the lobby with the waterfall that I took some video footage that I will post along with my review. I gave a 3 star rating on the location only because of it being in downtown Louisville. This however, is located at 4th Street Live which means it is in a more watched and patroled area of downtown Louisville so, it's not so bad. Overall, it does deserve the really good rating that I gave it.”

“For those leaving complaints understand that most of your negative feedback does not help others especially when amazing like a victim.
Room : was clean felt comfortable had a fridge. electric stove and dishwasher with plates. Yes some dishes maybe dirty it happens when people fail to wash their own plates and instead leave them in the dishwasher. Dishwashers dont scrub its pretty logic.
Service: staff are friendly. For those complaining about cameras and room privacy etc. Cameras can only be accessible to the GM and Owner only. Unless you file a police report they would allow the officer to conduct his investigation. So please stop harassing the staff. Privacy, while they do have a DND ( do not disturb] signs available for you to place thats there for a reason. If you dont have the sign up dont complain about them changing your towels and tidying up your mess in the room. Its bad enough the Housekeepers have their own children to clean up too but complaining about them cleaning is pretty far fetched. Your a guest. You dont own the room maintenance, techs, Housekeeper and staff have a right to conduct their job if need be and thats accessing your room with or without written notice. They will make themselves announce themselves before entering of course. Please stop harassing people with threats victimizing yourself in the process they are people too. You all complained about the staff being rude what you expect when you show up with the entitlement attitude.
Location: its close to the airport but the smell of industrial factories is the only drawback. Lost my full sense of smell years ago but im still able to tell that theres a smell coming from outside”
“I had an issue during my stay, but the hotel staff followed up and resolved it promptly. I appreciate the responsiveness and commitment to customer service! I would recommend staying at this location if you are flying from the airport!”
