“We stopped in on our way through for a family vacation. We had 4 kids and 2 adults & it so happened to be a difficult day for the cafe. They had call-ins and walk-outs, they were very clearly struggling. We waited for over an hour to get our food & were debating just walking out.. but I’m glad to say we stuck it out. The food was amazing, and the worker made the whole experience worth it and we would gladly come back just for his over-the-top customer service. I’m sad that I didn’t catch his name but I have a feeling anyone who knows this establishment will know his name. He is 1 in a million and cares about his job and his customers. So kudos to him & to this cafe for being lucky enough to have him!”
“Love this stop for local items like fudge, preserves, popcorn, candies, etc.plus there diner is a great stop to eat and look around to shop. Love there desserts to choose from daily. So the bathrooms have a latch on each of the doors in restroom. But I've gone in right after they had 3 busses just leave and they hadn't cleaned up. They had not even watched there breathe .lol But every time I've gone in there on my way to lex. It's a stop I always make and it's a place I always enjoy and never have I left feeling disappointed.”
“It's just a simple country store serving a very small community. And like most little stores in the country, the old fellas gather each morning for coffee and solve the World's problems. The one thing this store did do was remove a valuable product from it's business that many in this community depend on and that's water (not bottle water) especially when there is a drought causing cisterns and wells to go dry. This is the one thing they removed which wasn't favored by the community.”
