Dollar Stores near Wilmore, KY

“my experience here has always been a 10 out of 10 because of Taylor the employee who works there she’s always very kind professional and smart. She works harder than anybody else and she’s there every day even when they were shortstaffed she was there hours a day working away. The other staff are also very nice and kind and work hard as well. Taylor deserves a raise in my opinion. I’ve been going here for months and will continue to go here as well.”

“My wife and I have visited this store on several occasions and at different times of day and evening, and it's always been clean and well-lit with a lot of variety to choose from. The people who work there are helpful and there's almost never much of a wait in line even when it's long. We both think it's a great place to shop!”

“I go there on the regular and get the things my wife and I need... The cashier's and managers are very nice people... Always help when I ask for assistance and makes me feel good about spending my money there.... I recommend that anyone go here for their daily needs...”

“I’ve always been able to find what I need here, and I love the craft section. They have a lot of cute and trendy stuff. You can’t go wrong for the price! I also buy all our party supplies here. There is an extensive collection of plates, silverware, tablecloths, balloons, and other decorations. Much cheaper than the party store, and comparable quality. My dad swears by the LA Totally Awesome Carpet Cleaner- it’s the only kind he will use. It is really good, and I’ve started buying it too. There are usually 2 people working the registers, but even then it can get crowded! There is usually a line to check out, but they’re speedy and efficient.”

“Like this store it has so many different items from crafting to party ware to cleaning, & all in between. It is the only place you can find sugar free russle stuffers candy, yummy. I would give it 5 stars except for the fact that most of the time the shelves are bare due to not enough time or employees allotted for stocking. The product is there but it's in the boxes yet to be opened & put on the shelf.”

“The service at this Dollar General was top notch. When other competitors around town told me they couldn’t help me fill up my helium balloons for my son’s birthday party the staff at this location came through for me. I called ahead and talked to a nice employee named Gauge who said they’d be happy to help. Upon coming into the store Jake helped me out with getting the balloons inflated. He was super personal, made a connection with my family, chatted with my son about his birthday. He then told us about the Dollar General app (which I ended up downloading) and all of the coupons on it. He went over the sale bill with us to tell us about the different offers they were running. It was incredible service. These employees deserve recognition for caring about their customers and doing the right thing for their business. We even came right back in and bought a few of the things that we were planning to buy from the big box retailer down the street just because of the friendliness of this staff. Well done Dollar General Orchard!”

“Just moved back to Nicholasville and I visited this store to get some cold medicine. The cashier was very kind and wished for me to get better. I will return when I'm feeling better to shop their garden section which seems to be coming along nicely so far.”

“First time I've ever walked into a dollar store, asked 4 the bathroom & didn't get turned down without buying something. The girl was a sweetheart. The store was well stocked & pretty well organized, as far a dollar stores go anyway”

“Lucky catch with a lightning bolt!!
Store was tidy and staff was very helpful to this out of towner. Grabbed four different boxes of freezer pops for less than $10, which is unheard-of, 5-10pk-$5 drink mixes, That's 50/ 16-24 ounce enhanced drink mixes for $5.
Lots of savings offered in every section but kept it simple. Dollar general is definitely keeping things within grasp to have all of the day in day out necessities extremely well priced to get ahead in this grouling world.
Thank you for not being so Greedy and hopefully more people will take a look at your inventory and at least give you a shot for their needs here and there.
Think about it, coffee was around a long time before people started making circles around buildings for it 24 hours a day 7 days a week,
The only difference is it became more available to everybody everywhere just like Dollar general is available to most everybody and happy to see you save some money if you take a look. Dare ya!”

“This is an awesome Dollar General store. It is very neat and clean. It is also convenient for people living out this way and who is traveling the bypass. Highly recommend to anyone to shop at. The prices are the same as the others.”

“being from Kansas City, this is one of the better inventory stores I've come across. yesterday's visit was good, but today the cashier rubbed me the wrong way. The lady ahead of me was checking out and apologized because she was taking so to get her payment. cashier said it's fine. the lady said other people were waiting and then the cashier responded with she doesn't care, that they (we) can wait, and that customer should take her time. that customer laughed awkwardly. her transaction was not a big deal to me at all but the cashier's dismissiveness of us standing there was ick. The cashier seemed friendly enough to the customers so I'm wondering if she was just kind of oblivious to how she came off.”
