“Last night around 9:00 pm our Chevy Silverado overheated with a broken water pump. We had to park and leave it directly across the street from Ray Chevrolet. This morning at 7:00 am my husband went to the dealership to see if they could fix it for us. We are from VA and currently on vacation in LA....so not current customers. HOWEVER, 3 hours later they had retrieved the truck and repaired the truck!!! Purchase your next vehicle from Ray Chevrolet....service there is awesome!!! “A co-worker recommended this shop for my wife’s car. The vehicle is a Kia K-900 which are rare and parts are hard to find. The A/C stopped cooling and it was brought to the local Lafayette Kia dealership for diagnosis and repair and the estimate was 1800$ for a “leaking evaporator” which even I knew was not leaking so I sought a second opinion and was quoted around 600$ at Nu-Tek with a different diagnosis. The original repair was going to require that the whole dashboard be removed but after replacing the compressor valve and re-charging the system (which was included with the quote) the A/C is fixed. The car was there for a week only because they had to order the part but once the part arrived the car was ready that day. Great communication from staff and friendly service. On a different note, I brought my work truck (Mack dump truck) there a year ago for A/C repair and have had no issues since. Not sure if they routinely work on commercial vehicles like this but they took care of it in one day.”

It was interesting that they straightened out the auto frame and replaced parts of purchased for only 7 45, but on that same car I had to purchase a plastic undercarriage cover from Giles which they installed and I paid $740 for that. Giles was a rip off”

“Customer Service needs work but overall great place
The service and prices are amazing, the only down side is the guy at the counter comes off a bit standoffish. The first time I went I thought maybe he was having a bad day or something, same as today and so I dismissed it as maybe it was just his personality, because he was super dismissive and weird towards me, but when I saw he was open and friendly with other customers I couldn't imagine what I had done wrong when the only words ever between us are what I need for my vehicle and then the price and a thank you as I leave. Weird experience but overall I still recommend this place for your oil change needs if you're in Abbeville! Great service and they're pretty fast”
