“The butcher counter here is epic and well-stocked, with knowledgeable staff and friendly service. If you don’t see what you want they got it in the back. Really good coffee, convenient hours, gumbo in the afternoon. I go once a week to get great cuts of real soul food ingredients - today I got incredibly flavorful beef “bones” for my roasted bone broth. And they offer package specials like 100lbs of various types of meat for $169 and a “Monday Night Game Grilling Special”. Avoid exorbitant high prices for supermarket-grade cuts at “boutique butchers” by visiting Ancona’s 100%!”

“I love to quick shop here! The food is always fresh, hot, perfectly seasoned! They have everything from veggies, fresh cut meats, drinks, anything you need to make a meal. A small convenience store, however, its jam packed with all your desires! My Hot Food Favorites are, (Chicken tenders and Crawfish), they also have beers-spirits, ice creams, clothing,jewelry, hats,lottery, household products! Accepts cards,cash,EBT..I believe money orders too. Im sure they have Uhaul and also a tire shop on premises. One flaw, can't hardly move down those isles thats how packed it is in the little store. “What a lovely find in Baton Rouge! I was looking for a place to pick up lunch, the muffuletta was delicious! Quaint little deli carved into this family style grocery store. I could have spent hours in this little gem. Make sure you pick up some of the olive salad, labeled with the Calandro's name. The best around.”

Always had friendly service up until recently. The girl working the counter the morning of 05/14/26, is rude and makes you feel unwelcome. Seems like you’re bothering her. Unfortunately, I’ve had this experience with her on a couple occasions at this point, and witnessed other customers receiving the same treatment.”
