“I have just recently started to do business with Albany Drugs and have not had a single problem with them. I am a Medicaid recipient and one of my medications wasn't covered. Well, I thought I was going to have to leave and go without it when the cashier took what looked like a tip jar and fished out around $3 and said don't worry about it. When she turned the jar around it read "To make ends meet and receive your prescription when needed". That act of charity is so helpful to disabled people like myself that have no other way as well as the elderly or just someone straight up that needs it. More small businesses need to jump on the bandwagon and show their charity to the local community and boost their business while doing so.”

“Scott's Pharmacy in Hammond is a great local pharmacy. The owner and Lead Pharmacist, Jennifer, is awesome! She is highly professional, knowledgeable, and compassionate. She does not mind answering any questions that you may have pertaining to your medications. She is more than willing to address any concerns that a customer may have. The only problem that I have are that some of the pharmacy techs are not people friendly. Other than that, I am pleased, and trust Scott's Pharmacy, because they go above and beyond for their customers. I, highy, recommend this pharmacy!”

“This is a fast and reliable pharmacy. It's also a brand new building. Only thing is my mom gets her diabetes medication there and they NEVER have her medicine so then she has to wait 2 to 3 weeks for them to order and receive it. My mom has also told them multiple times that she uses their pharmacy every month to please keep some in stock I>+8 her but apparently their not going to do that because she still has to wait for week or two for them to order and receive them.”

“The day I visited this location to pick up my prescriptions the pharmacy was understaffed and it would be the next day before I could get my prescriptions. Went again on April 5 and things were back to normal. Staff was friendly and assisted me quickly.”

“The previous reviewer who gave 1 star is obviously mentally challenged. I actually like that my medications are filled ahead of time so that they are ready for pickup whenever I go there. The reviewer is kin to an ex employee there. However, what she doesn’t realize is that she is being used by this vindictive ex employee because when I was in there that said employee was talking about that reviewer like a dog. Discussing what medications she takes and why she takes them. Seems to me that that family needs to have a long talk.”
“The person who answered the phone was so nice. She wasn't able to answer my question due to policy about certain drugs. She told me the only thing I could do was go in to get the answer on if they had it or not. The way she handled it was perfect though.”

“This was my first time at the Pharmacy in Ponchatoula!
I arrived in the drive thru it was moving quickly the staff that helped me from the window was really friendly and thoughtful informing me about the price before I paid (over $100). I told her I would try to make some calls and come back. When I came back after shopping I stopped inside and talked to another thoughtful staff member. I told her I had seen family receive discounts at CVS locations. She got the prescription down to a price I was willing to pay and then another staff member (in the coat) helped me get $10 more dollars off. This took less than 5 minutes in the drive thru and 10 minutes inside. I was nervous I just wasn't going to pick up my prescription but they helped me get my medicine. Thanks for all of yalls help, I really appreciated it! Looking forward to using this specific CVS in the future!

“I am having prescriptions transferred from 2 different local pharmacies my orginal phone call to Walgreens was at 10am I called them back at 3pm and the pharmacist stated to me they were working on it. But she has 90 something other prescriptions to work on and she would get to mine as she can. I'm very disappointed to the fact that it has been 5 hrs and my scripts are not only not ready but that I am only not a priority since I explained to the person that answered to phone at 10am I was out of some of my meds also that I'm just a number like the 90 something others not getting their prescriptions as well. The pharmacist had a very poor disposition on the phone.”

“I called Walgreens to have a prescription transferred from WA state. The pharmacy tech was very helpful, thorough, and friendly. My prescription was ready for pickup the next day. I went through the drive thru without any issues in minutes and was on my way. Hopefully, the Walgreens by my house in WA will be as efficient as this one. If so, I'll switch my prescriptions there.”
