I got the run around from another (large corporation) pharmacy. Call that pharmacy and they said “it will be ready within the hour”, went to pick it up, they said “another 30-45 minutes”, went after work, they said “come back tomorrow, we had to order it”. I called Ray’s and they were able to transfer and have the order ready within one hour! Definitely recommend!

Used this pharmacy for over 3 years . The workers at the counter are really nice . The ones who answer the phone aren't friendly at all and makes you feel like your bothering them when you call to check the status of refills . Also they won't inform you they are out of medications they will text alert you it's ready and wait until your there to tell you . They decided not to fill my prescription that was to changed to a cheaper version due to losing my insurance coverage . I Do not recommend this place at all from my personal experience.

I tried to get a prescription filled here and was very rudely told they wouldn’t fill it because they are reserving the specific medication for current customers. No apologies. No recommendation or advice. Pretty much “we don’t want your business. Go away” kind of attitude.
My husband tried to get his filled and his doctor specified on the prescription that we plan to use Ray’s on a regular basis. He was told the same thing in the same rude manner.
We just moved to the area a few months ago and this has been the first and only negative customer service interaction I’ve had with any Alexandria business. Not at all what I expected from one centered around healthcare. We were very disappointed to say the least, especially since many people speak so highly about this pharmacy.

Ray’s Pharmacy is very thorough. They will let you know right away if they have your prescription on file, if your medication is in their inventory, and their prices are great. I love independent pharmacies and their get you in and out in a jiffy. They also have a drive through that you don’t have to wait in line for hours, I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes.

Love the staff and service. They always remember/call me by name. The only reason I can't give 5 stars is the difficulty of utilizing the drive through lane. It seems they may have outgrown using this space. Overall consistently great service though and by far the best I have used in Cenla.

I went into Ray's to pick up a prescription for my husband. I signed a receipt that was for one amount and the cashier as well verbally told me the amount. When the bank notification came across my phone, the amount was different than the receipt I just signed. When I returned to the store to ask why the discrepancy I was told it was because a 3% credit card charge was added. However, they were no signs displayed by the cash register. When this supervisor was called she stated it was on the front door. When I looked there is no sign. She then stated it must have come down and there was one of the drive-thru. However, I did not use the drive-thru. She walked me over to show me on the drive-thru window. There was a tiny sign that did state there was a 3% charge for all credit cards. Granted the other signs that were posted were all in large font, but this sign you would need to put on your glasses to read. I told her I felt this was deceitful because I signed a receipt authorizing one amount and then they go back and run the additional 3% and you do not sign that or do you know about it. She said that all of her regular customers know this is what they do. I personally feel that the credit card fee is a part of running a business but my main complaint is the way they try and sneak it on you without being transparent and honest.
