They've helped me many times when I was struggling for money, needed gas and stuff by either lowering the price, letting me pay when I could, and sometimes saying the amount due was whatever I had at the time. The only issue is them running out of gas every week on either Thursday or Friday.”

“My husband and I drive from Hammond to Amite once a month, on either a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and always stop here for hot wings, boiled turkey wings, and shrimp fried rice.Three Stooges hot wings are the only wings my family will eat, because the food we order is always hot and satisfying.The owners are always friendly and remain friendly even when customers are rude; my husband and I have witnessed this many times.”

“Yesterday my Grandaughter 26 wanted fresh cut meats but didn't want small packed meats so I introduced her to shoppers value. Foods in Amite...were both new here in town..but I've been here a little longer than her by at lease 1 yr..anyway we went in side. .yes that's the meat store we were looking for...fresh meats ...fresh everything you wanted and fresh everything you didn't kno you wanted looking good to catch the eyes..looking lime look in these tall stand up freezers..stating to me look how fresh..and we'll advertised...the store is so special because...they stock some of the hard to find items on their shelves...i can't find anywhere else I'm always amazed..when I'm shelf checking on anything ..love it I love it there in Shoppers Value Foods Amite...thank you ..”

“It's Walmart so of course you can find what you need. I was helped by an employee that had to use their own phone app to scan something because the one they were given was glitching. But the checkout took longer than the whole shopping trip because they refuse to staff more registers. If you can afford someone to watch customers ring up their own stuff. Pay that person who knows what they are doing to check people out and get the lines moving. Maybe take the receipt checkers and put them on a register. If employees were checking customers out you wouldn't need the receipt check on exit. Which also held me up.Your employee got 5 stars but the store got 3.”

Most products near or slightly past expiration as expected in a salvage store but some a fair ways past. So far, everything we've bought is still good, especially chocolate chip packages 2/$1 on special. Yeah!”
