“The service is great even though it is understaffed. They cranked that mail through the system.
Let's hope that there's no disruption of mail in voting.
Don't stop the vote with disruption of mail-in voting from a corrupt president.”

“I can’t say enough good things about the USPS store in Meraux! Every time I visit, I’m greeted with the most helpful and kindhearted service, especially from one particular lady who always goes above and beyond. She takes the time to ask about my day, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that you don’t often find at postal offices.
What really stands out is how patient and knowledgeable she is. She never makes me feel rushed or like my questions are a bother—instead, she genuinely helps me understand the shipping process and makes sure my packages are labeled correctly and ready to go. It’s such a relief to have someone who actually cares about getting things done right, rather than just pushing people through the line.
The level of customer service here makes every visit an absolute pleasure. If you’re looking for an stress-free and friendly mailing experience, this USPS location is the place to go. Highly recommend!”

“I came to this office to inquire about the passport renewal process, and Ms. Rhonda, at the front desk was amazing! She was unable to assist with the process, but she was kind enough to share the "Best kept secret with me" and I knew where to go to acquire the help I needed! When I return to have it posted, she made sure everything was taken care of, and She is one of a kind! Ms. Demy was also as helpful; so, don't hesitate to ask them if you needed assistance. They're more than just what you may perceive them to be. Keep up the good work, guys!”

“Visiting NOLA for the first time (from Canada!) so we were a bit lost shipping with USPS. Karen helped us through the process and she was very friendly. Thanks Karen!”
“Building is clean. Window clerks are friendly. ONLY downside is some of the carriers are horrible. Put mail anywhere and clearly DONT care about doing their job with professionalism”
“I'm Charles the carpenter 67y 11 months 6 days old ,
I went to this branch for the first time today as I entered the post office , Ms Megan called over to me and said , you can come over here ,
There was no one in line , I was going to walk all the way down to the end of that barricade and then turn around and come all the way back up to ms Megan ,
An extra 60 ft of walking ,
With this sketchy knee of my , that does make a difference
It's a little act of kindness like this by Ms Megan that let the customer know that they really want to help you .
Kudos to. ms Megan. and five stars , and a hot sausage and cheese on French ,”

“The post office operates fine. Usually the packages arrive and are available timely. However, if you have issues with missing packages or delays, the fault is with the delivery services. If you use Amazon delivery, it will autocorrect the last 4 digits of your zip code to 70148-3520 when the real delivery route should be 70148-0001. If Amazon detects you are a p.o box they will send you on the 3-5 day usps shipping. The problem occurs when the website does not detect that your address is a p.o box address, and you might get a carrier that is not USPS, which is the only one that guaranteed delivers to p.o. box. Many drivers do not deliver to p.o boxes because they're used to boxes that don't accept parcels from other carriers except usps. The problem worsens with Amazon drivers, who are contracted. They barely get paid a livable wage (many times Amazon was sued for paying drivers under minimum wage even), and must deliver lots of packages as fast as they can to make a living, to the point where they may have to pee in bottles rather than stop. Amazon tracks their eye movements, if they drink coffee, everything, and even outside of driving and doing their job, they to have specific nail length, social media posting, lots of dictated things and none of the benefits of employees as they are contractors. If your packages end up delivered at all, your they might end up in Privateer place or some other place. That's what happened to my package, when I checked the map and the exact location. Hopefully it will reach the UNO post office.Edit: You can change the last 4 digits by changing address 1 and then reentering the zip code until it eventually works.”

“I am here because I could not let this go unnoticed or heard. On Saturday, July 20, I came in and requested to speak with a supervisor. I was unaware at the time, how postal deliveries work when having an outside carrier deliver your package to your P.O Box. Anyways, the manager came out and asked for my information to go look for my package herself. When she didn't find it at the time (looking back, I was too early) she came out and asked for my number and PO Box. She said if she came across it, she would call me, etc. She was so very polite, I left there feeling better because honestly I was disappointed it would be 3 days before I get my package because it was the weekend. Well yesterday, that same supervisor called me. Like she called to make sure if I ever received my package. That sent me inside my home with the biggest smile that I needed at that moment. It's people like that who makes this world a better place. Please acknowledge her for her efforts. It meant a whole lot. I must also note, everytime I have came in there, I am always greeted with kindness. However, some businesses have supervisor's whom do not care much. The interaction was genuine and the phone call summed it up. Great Job, and Thank you again! Pictures to include what I was about to cry over that day ?? I ended up getting it before they closed as well ??”

“This has been my local post office for 35 years. I have seen a lot of ups and a lot of down. Almost every time that I have gone, I have seen the workers remain helpful to the customers. They are also patient. I do not like the they did away with the drive up-drop off. At this post office I never feel rushed. I just left and wanted to post a review about an observation. A young lady in front of me was getting a money order and before she walked away, she asked the postal worker behind the counter, if she had to sign it. She also explained that it was her first time getting a money order. The postal worker took the time to open the money order and explain it to her twice, while reiterating the importance of keeping the top copy for her records and in case anything should happen. This workers name was Ms. Lori. I have known her for over 20 years, and all of my personal and professional experiences have been nothing but top tier. It was refreshing to see that a someone, let alone a postal worker actually helped a customer. I've had a lot of experiences where Ive felt like the US Postal Service needs to be closed down. I'm happy that I had a chance to tell about this positive experience.”

“The employees at the Harvey location have always been helpful and service is fast. The self-service kiosk is available after hours. USPS has consistently been the fastest and most reliable service for me, compared to FedEx or UPS.”
“I don't know why this post office has such a low rating. I was there this morning with a complicated situation, and everyone was absolutely polite, helpful, gracious. Thank you, staff!”
“I love this post office, its never crowded, friendly staff, and I've had no issues with packages. The only downside is the business hours they open late and close early. They are not open even 5 hours a day. Other than that, I love them”
