“For as long as I can remember, Fireside Antiques has been one of my favorite places in Baton Rouge. As a little girl, I wandered through the showroom with my parents, dreaming about the beautiful pieces around every corner. My mom gave me a love and appreciation for antiques, and Fireside has been part of that journey for decades.
Every visit is inspiring. The styling is absolutely beautiful—the way they thoughtfully mix antique pieces with modern design is something I always admire. I notice new details every time I walk through the doors, and I genuinely learn something with each visit. Sometimes I leave simply inspired, and other times I'm lucky enough to take home a new treasure.
I've even purchased pieces sight unseen through their website because I trust them completely. Communication with Paul and Laura is always easy, friendly, and professional. They make buying antiques feel effortless, whether you're in the showroom or shopping from hundreds of miles away.
If I'm anywhere near Baton Rouge, stopping by Fireside Antiques is non-negotiable. It's more than an antique store—it's a place filled with history, beauty, creativity, and genuinely wonderful people. I can't recommend it highly enough.”
“I absolutely love shopping here for my pearls. They are all so informative about all the differences of pearls. This is my go to place! They even checked my pearls that I was given when my great-grandmother passed away to see if they needed to be restrung or taken care of. Absolutely wonderful people. Thank you, The Gilded Lily!!!”
“LD Linens is my happy place. It always feels so warm, fresh and welcoming. She always has great seasonal and holiday items and the clothes and jewelry are well priced and fun. Checkout her website to see the exquisite Josephine (named after her daughter-so sweet) bed linens she designed and sells. I paint furniture professionally and am super excited she has started carrying Amy Howard’s lacquer paint. Follow her on Instagram because she often has great pop up shop events in store you won’t want to miss. Great place to shop local and support a woman owned business!”
“I wish I would have taken a befire picture. Mr. Wayne repaired a split leg in my wingback chair. He first had to fix a botched repair job and then properly repair. It looks perfect!”

“This antique store is great! The owner is very kind and knowledgeable. The prices are reasonable. The inventory isn’t overwhelming like other places. Whether you’re looking for something specific or just want to stroll around an antique store, this is a great place for that!”
“Great antique mall with a good variety. Really sweet, helpful folks work there. The booths are all set up nicely and everything looks great - one of the more spacious malls I’ve visited (yet still packed with lots of goodies). Fun place to kill some time and hunt for treasures.”

“Inessa Stewart's Antiques was a delightful shopping experience. This was my first time and I brought my husband along. Imagine my surprise when my husband was extremely complimentary of the antiques. He is the type of guy that usually says 'I can make that better.' But today all I heard from my husband is 'This is quality furniture.' If my husband says it's excellent, it's excellent because he builds beautiful cabinets and furniture. When he is impressed with the art and tapestries, you have to understand, he has a degree in Fine Art. I found a lovely tapestry that I purchased at a great price. I found a pewter plate with an image of a horse that I got as a Christmas present for a guy friend who has been in many rodeos. I found a cute plate that I'm going to hang on the wall in my dining room. I want to bring my daughter to share this experience next time. And yes. I will definitely be back again. Thanks to Janie, Stacia, and Teri for all the kindness and professional assistance. Did I forget to mention? They have two stories in this store. Again had another happy hour at Inessa Stewart's beautiful antique shop. Brought my step granddaughter and she found a glamorous Mardi Gras mask. Fun”
“I’ve visited Circa several times and always see things that I want in my home. Garrett and Luke do a great job of curating an interesting mix of items from all over the world. They have convenient and affordable delivery options as well. I always see information on fun events at Circa with live music and drinks. I am looking forward to attending an event soon!”
