“I’m not one to leave reviews but I felt moved with my experience recently and compelled to leave this review for genuine good /in a positive way. I feel we all should stop and take the time to praise one another as it’s so dire in today’s world for more Godly light in humans, positivity and kindness to all.I wanted to leave a review for Phil, Perkins Road,Louisiana Nursey Associate who was more than exceptional. Not only did he stop to ask when passing if he could help in anyway, he was genuinely kind, a wonderful listener and taught me along the way about the plants we looked at for my urns. When I went plant shopping again (less than two weeks) for more to add in areas, he noticed me and stopped his work to come walk with me every step of the way just as he did the first time. To say the least his warm welcome, his genuine kindness, his gentleman gestures from pushing the cart , helping in picking each tree/plants up and loading it on the cart which I only intended to do myself, walking with me, get protective paper for my car to loading my SUV and making sure they were carefully placed and secure would make one stop and take in such extended efforts and care as this isn’t common any longer today. It was to say the least a breath of fresh air.Yes, it may be someone’s job but when there is selflessness and one genuinely moving/acting with their heart is what makes Phil a shining light that was so brightly obvious in today’s dark world. What a gem you have Louisiana Nursery!! May this review be read by the owners and may you Phil who does this everyday to everyone/stranger you encounter, when no one is watching, be recognized significantly for your selfless character and being such an exceptional gentleman and asset to this company. (Including your two degrees in Horticulture )”

“I LOVE this store. There's always cool stuff here. They have the best selection of nice outdoor furniture and a healthy selection of high-end BBQ pits!If you have to get a gift for someone and have no idea what to get or where to start, go here! They stock a lot of items by local artists like hand painted glassware and a big selection of funky LSU/Saints paraphernalia. They have everything you need for crawfish boils, tailgating parties, they have entire outdoor kitchens, cool kitchen gadgets, bird feeders, windchimes, other patio decor stuff....Its also one of the only places I know of that will "refill" your propane tank, meaning, top it off, instead of swapping it out. You know how sometimes you have like a third of a tank of propane and you don't want to risk it going empty on you when you're in the middle of bbq-ing, but you don't want to swap out a tank thats a third full..... Well, for like half the price you can top off your tank.They also offer assembly and delivery of BBQ pits. Its taken me like 6 hours to assemble a bbq pit in the past. I bought a bbq pit for my boyfriend once for his birthday and they delivered it fully assembled, it took them like 5 minutes to get it off the truck and up the driveway. My boyfriend was taking a nap at the time and slept right through it so when he woke up, BAM! Giant BBQ pit ready to go - like it just fell out of the sky. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable about every product they sell.There's always someone that will ask if you need any help finding anything. Just come check this place out, you won't be disappointed.”

“While on the hunt for a thoughtful and unique gift, preferably from a local store, I remembered The Foyer is usually a place where you can find a little something for everyone. I was immediately greeted and welcomed into the store, even though there were several people being assisted. There are several local vendors selling items in The Foyer, and each area has a different theme or flavor. The local artists on display are phenomenal. You can find something in all price ranges and styles as well. I found some special pieces for my mom and a gift for a student at LSU. I can't wait to go back after the holidays and shop for my house! The store is clean and easy to get around in. While sometimes the popular stalls may get a little cramped, everyone is respecting distance. Also, the numerous times I was offered assistance was great. I even saw one employee search through several ornaments to help one patron find an obscure item she thought might be there. Lucky for her, it was! I didn't get to go to the cafe this time (Heather V's), but i guarantee I will be back for some delicious sandwich or salad very soon!”

“This store is gorgeous and I am so glad I finally got to visit it. There are so many furniture pieces I would have loved to take home with me. Pieces were unique, upscale and contemporary. Perhaps during my next re-vamp of home furnishings, I will hit this place up again. They do have some stylish lamps, couches that were even too cool for outer-space and beds that from another world. I was thoroughly impressed. This is all part of the 1010 Nic space off of Nicholson, which is bringing forth the new age of shopping to Baton Rouge. I wish this showroom was my living room and bedroom. Furniture is hip, modern and classy for those that want a clean and sleek look for their living and/or office space.”
