“The young lady I met at the door was passive aggressive and a bit of a smart Alex. I had a couple thousand dollars to spend and was the only person from the office available to go shop ... I had limited time and am unfamiliar shopping for appliances, plumbing, lighting etc.
My question to her was simple ... is there anyone available who could help me with all the shopping I needed to do. She began to ummm ahhh I don't think so ...it might take several people ... excuse after excuse.. so I frustrated ..said it's OK and walked off ...as I walked off she muttered under her breath ... “I made a large purchase with them in 2021 for my new home. Included in that purchase was a very expensive BlueStar range. I am now having problems with it and they will not service BlueStar appliances. They claim to service them but do not. Beware of buying anything from them.
*Edit - I was contacted after my initial review and they agreed to send a technician to my home. He was able to diagnose and repair the problem. Additionally, he was able to fix the convection fan which never worked well from the beginning. My wife attempted several times to get them out in the past to fix the fan but was told that they do not service BlueStar. We now know they do, you just need to talk to the right person. Unfortunately we are now past the warranty date so it remains to be known what will happen with that.
Update 5/14/24 - As of now we have not been charged for anything. Which in my estimation is the correct thing because if we would not have originally been told they do not service BlueStar, it would have been fixed during the warranty period. In short, it took writing a negative review but once I did they quickly responded and they did the good and right thing. Thank you Chris”
