About Capital Area CASA Association
Capital Area CASA Association is a nonprofit organization that recruits, trains and supervises community volunteers to be powerful voices for abused and neglected children placed in foster care while they wait for a safe and permanent homes. These CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) volunteers spend time with a child and everyone involved in a case and provide detailed, firsthand information to judges regarding what is in that child's best interest. The information helps judges make well-informed decisions regarding the child's future. Having a CASA volunteer can make a huge impact on the lives of abused or neglected children!
