This place is a scam kept my vehicle about a month they told me they were waiting on a front bumper, which looks like they just use the old bumper. I still had scratches everywhere sensors on my vehicle. Do not work. Front headlight does not work honestly I don’t know what they did and they were paid 6000 and some dollars I would never recommend this place to anyone. The lady I talked to would try to buy more time to keep the car more time because they know that they did a jacked up job their customer service is horrible. I never got anywhere and the price kept changing daily. I was told one thing and something else another day which I understand can happen, but this was outrageous and very unprofessional. I would never recommend this company to anyone

GERBER repaired my gmc 2500 and I am satisfied with the repair. It was through Costco insurance. Their is a small bushing missing from the tailgate which they said they would replace with in a week. Overall I would recommend them.

I brought my car to Gerber Collision on Siegen and had a very frustrating experience from start to finish. Right off the bat, the front desk staff came across as unprofessional and disorganized. There was no clear communication, no sense of urgency, and honestly, it felt like they couldn’t care less about customer service.
When I picked up my car, I noticed that someone had clearly gone through my console—my knife and pepper spray were missing, and everything was out of place. Yes, I know you’re technically supposed to remove personal items, but it's the principle. My car shouldn’t be rummaged through like that.
On top of that, they almost tried to claim that my mini fridge—which was in the back of my car—was never there to begin with. It wasn’t until I followed up with a second phone call that they suddenly “found” it. That felt extremely shady and careless.
All in all, I’m very disappointed with the lack of professionalism, accountability, and basic respect for customers’ property. I won’t be returning and definitely wouldn’t recommend this shop.

This shop was incredible! I previously had a terrible experience with the repair shop next door(COLLISION WORKS), which left me hesitant about getting my car serviced in Baton Rouge again. But I’m so glad I gave this place a chance—they did an outstanding job! My car looked like it just came off the showroom floor. Tori was fantastic and made the whole process smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend this shop. Unlike the awful experience I had just a few buildings down, this team truly exceeded my expectations!

My wife’s car has been here for almost a month now in the next few days. From the jump there was a delay in the process of getting things started with her car. It took Gerber collision until week 3 just to determine if the car was a total loss or repairable & to get the estimate sent over to insurance. They told her the car would be ready one date and then turns outs it is completely different date , pushing the process out even more. We understand that some things are beyond their control but since her car has been there if it’s not one thing it’s another. We have being paying out of pocket for a rental so that makes things even more frustrating. My wife constantly is the one reaching out to them for information on the vehicle and is extremely frustrated because she feels her concerns are being neglected. As a company, it is important to do your due diligence and make sure the owner is aware of any changes that arise in the status of vehicle immediately. My wife should not be the one constantly reaching out to them. We will never bring another vehicle to Gerber collision.

Update requested by my husband and Gerber - due to all of the issues we experienced with this shop they did make additional repairs to the rear bumper to make up for the problems. After 2.5 months of work they did get everything correct thanks to Hunter's input.
If I could share less than one star, I would. Everything that is touched by this shop they break three other things in the process. Although they are very kind, they are not competent. I would not take a broken bicycle to this shop. I found printed instructions in my trunk for the work that needed to be done. This was the first month they had the car. They had oversprey inside the car. And that was just the start of a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor Find a different place to get your car fixed.. this IS NOT A RELIABLE REPAIR SHOP!!!

I had some work done by Gerber a few years back and I was pleased, so after I was rear ended, I brought my vehicle to them again. It helps that Enterprise is right next door, so all I had to do is walk next door to rent a car.I have been sent text messages at least once a week regarding the status, from still waiting for parts, to now we are painting, etc. I went in today to pick up my car, and I have to say they are friendly, and helpful. Even offering to help me transfer anything from one vehicle to the other both when dropping it off, and when picking it up.Fingers crossed that I don't need you again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to choose to bring my vehicle to Gerber's for repair. Thank you. Lynnette

Gerber Collision & GlassFirst, my car was wrecked in October 2023. At the direction of my insurance, I called Gerber Collision and Glass, and I scheduled an appointment to bring it in the day after my accident. My car was wrecked on the drivers side and required body and frame work to fix it. After approximately 3 weeks, I was notified that my car was ready for pickup. When I went to pick it up, I pointed out paint issues and was advised that a paint issue is a "manufacturer issue," and my door seal was off, but he said if water leaks, then their warranty will cover it. There were paint drips on the car and the paint job was poor overall. When I told him about the issues that I observed, i was brushed off. After leaving with my car, I realized this needed to be fixed. The following day I called Gerber back and told them that I wanted it fixed properly (paint, door/seal). Although, I should not have to go through this much trouble to get them to complete a job that they were PAID for by insurance. He was condescending, to say the least, but he reluctantly agreed to fix it again. He told me I needed to contact my insurance for a rental because the paint was a manufacturer issue and Gerber isn't responsible. I am not sure how a manufacturer is responsible for their substandard paint job. The lack of responsibility is nothing short of unprofessional. Things may have looked different if they weren't able to cash that check until my car was restored back to a satisfactory operating status. After picking my car up the second time, I got the car back and realized that my steering wheel was VISIBLY not properly aligned. So naturally I asked about the alignment, and my estimate showed that an alignment was completed. Gerber informed me that it was in spec, according to them. They informed me that if I wanted to take the car to Honda and pay the $100 diagnostic fee, they would reimburse me if they found anything wrong, but not if they didn't. Admittedly, I mistakenly trusted him and decided to not bring my car to Honda. In a matter of WEEKS, I was driving my car when I noticed my car fishtailing all over the place, clearly something was wrong. When I checked the inside of my tires, I noticed that there was virtually NO tread on the inside of my rear tires. There is no reason that my back two tires should've been like this. This is not only dangerous, but nothing short of neglectful on Gerber's part. I brought it to a tire shop, and was informed that there is excessive wear and tear due to the LACK of alignment. I called Gerber and told them what happened, and I was told to bring the new alignment numbers and he would show me their alignment numbers. When my husband brought the paper and spoke to the manager, because clearly talking to Sam was useless, there was apparently NO record of an alignment being done. SO because Gerber is careless and cuts corners, I was out $1600 for four new tires and an alignment. The manager wanted to only pay for 2 tires and an alignment after haggling them for just that. I called them back and told them I wanted them to pay for it all because it is their fault that I am even having to get all of this, muchless the time spent. After a lot of back and forth they agreed to pay for it, weeks later. When I went to pick up the check, it was only $1,100. At this point, I am exhausted. This saga should've been over weeks before this. I drive around with a toddler on the interstate, having bald tires and a bad alignment is dangerous and simply neglectful on Gerber's part. Do not waste your time. Take your car to a shop that will at least have minimal competency to repair your car enough for safe driving. If you value your safety while on the road, pick literally anyone else. If you've made it this far into the review, I hope you see the others with similar issues.

We brought our vehicle here for repair and had an amazing experience. Ryan worked so hard to get our vehicle back to us quickly and communicated through the whole process. Everything was done ahead of time and I’d go back/send people to this Gerber location and to Ryan in the future.Services: Tires
