I had some work done by Gerber a few years back and I was pleased, so after I was rear ended, I brought my vehicle to them again. It helps that Enterprise is right next door, so all I had to do is walk next door to rent a car.I have been sent text messages at least once a week regarding the status, from still waiting for parts, to now we are painting, etc. I went in today to pick up my car, and I have to say they are friendly, and helpful. Even offering to help me transfer anything from one vehicle to the other both when dropping it off, and when picking it up.Fingers crossed that I don't need you again, but if I do, I will not hesitate to choose to bring my vehicle to Gerber's for repair. Went to get a price quote. Recommended by a friend. The inside smell of a very bad oder!?. I rather do business outside. The estimate was a lot higher than the other 2 estimates.Telling It Like it IS! ?TerryB

Gerber Collision & GlassFirst, my car was wrecked in October 2023. At the direction of my insurance, I called Gerber Collision and Glass, and I scheduled an appointment to bring it in the day after my accident. My car was wrecked on the drivers side and required body and frame work to fix it. After approximately 3 weeks, I was notified that my car was ready for pickup. When I went to pick it up, I pointed out paint issues and was advised that a paint issue is a "manufacturer issue," and my door seal was off, but he said if water leaks, then their warranty will cover it. There were paint drips on the car and the paint job was poor overall. When I told him about the issues that I observed, i was brushed off. After leaving with my car, I realized this needed to be fixed. The following day I called Gerber back and told them that I wanted it fixed properly (paint, door/seal). Although, I should not have to go through this much trouble to get them to complete a job that they were PAID for by insurance. He was condescending, to say the least, but he reluctantly agreed to fix it again. He told me I needed to contact my insurance for a rental because the paint was a manufacturer issue and Gerber isn't responsible. I am not sure how a manufacturer is responsible for their substandard paint job. The lack of responsibility is nothing short of unprofessional. Things may have looked different if they weren't able to cash that check until my car was restored back to a satisfactory operating status. After picking my car up the second time, I got the car back and realized that my steering wheel was VISIBLY not properly aligned. So naturally I asked about the alignment, and my estimate showed that an alignment was completed. Gerber informed me that it was in spec, according to them. They informed me that if I wanted to take the car to Honda and pay the $100 diagnostic fee, they would reimburse me if they found anything wrong, but not if they didn't. Admittedly, I mistakenly trusted him and decided to not bring my car to Honda. In a matter of WEEKS, I was driving my car when I noticed my car fishtailing all over the place, clearly something was wrong. When I checked the inside of my tires, I noticed that there was virtually NO tread on the inside of my rear tires. There is no reason that my back two tires should've been like this. This is not only dangerous, but nothing short of neglectful on Gerber's part. I brought it to a tire shop, and was informed that there is excessive wear and tear due to the LACK of alignment. I called Gerber and told them what happened, and I was told to bring the new alignment numbers and he would show me their alignment numbers. When my husband brought the paper and spoke to the manager, because clearly talking to Sam was useless, there was apparently NO record of an alignment being done. SO because Gerber is careless and cuts corners, I was out $1600 for four new tires and an alignment. The manager wanted to only pay for 2 tires and an alignment after haggling them for just that. I called them back and told them I wanted them to pay for it all because it is their fault that I am even having to get all of this, muchless the time spent. After a lot of back and forth they agreed to pay for it, weeks later. When I went to pick up the check, it was only $1,100. At this point, I am exhausted. This saga should've been over weeks before this. I drive around with a toddler on the interstate, having bald tires and a bad alignment is dangerous and simply neglectful on Gerber's part. Do not waste your time. Take your car to a shop that will at least have minimal competency to repair your car enough for safe driving. If you value your safety while on the road, pick literally anyone else. If you've made it this far into the review, I hope you see the others with similar issues.

We brought our vehicle here for repair and had an amazing experience. Ryan worked so hard to get our vehicle back to us quickly and communicated through the whole process. Everything was done ahead of time and I’d go back/send people to this Gerber location and to Ryan in the future.Services: Tires

I am very satisfied with the service. They told that it would take 2 weeks. In those they called me on every tuesday and thursday to let me know the status. SAM PARKIN was my expert, he really is the best in what he does, He took care of the repairs efficiently and his hospitality was too good, explained how he would take care of my baby(car). Receptionist Lexy was patient with all my questions. Initially I was afraid of the reviews, but they proved me wrong, I strongly this place if you love your car and wants the car to be nothing less than perfect.Services: Painting

This place is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. They lie and are unprofessional. They had my car 4 months last year cause it was waiting on parts. Finally, they call and say it’s ready. I drive it 40 min and it is broken. I bring it back. They said they were going to put me in a rental and they were paying for it. Chris, the one in charge of handling my claim, and his manager told me this. Now I am receiving an outstanding bill from enterprise. I had filed a claim with my insurance. They are the ones that chose Gerber to do the repairs. I payed Gerber my $500 deductible. I also just received a bill where Gerber has sent me to collections for an outstanding balance. How do I have an outstanding balance when one of the reasons having insurance is you only pay your deductible. I also felt something was not right when they still had my car. I called and asked if I could come get something out of my trunk. I really hid a gps tracker in there. Chris is telling me we are bringing your car to Honda on Tuesday cause they don’t have the machine there to fix what was wrong. I checked the tracker routinely. My car never moved. Finally a week later I call to ask about this and he is on vacation. I spoke with his manager and told them about the gps and I know they are lying. Conveniently, they called a few hours later and said my car was now ready. Talk about a nightmare. I’ve had my car back 6 months now and I am still having problems with them. My car has never driven the same since I picked it up and it still makes a noise. I didn’t try to bring it back because I wouldn’t even trust them to fix a bicycle. Now that I am reading their other reviews, I see that they have done similar things to many people.
