“The crew at Pelican Pawn on Sherewood are an exceptional group of people! They are extremely knowledgeable and trustworthy. Whether you’re in a vulnerable situation and in need financial assistance or looking for a gift for that special someone, they are on board to help! The internet has nothing on them when it comes to product knowledge. Kudos to the owner of Pelican Pawn for assembling & supporting this outstanding group of individuals. They are all openly gratuitous when it comes to their employment and affiliation with Pelican Pawn. Happy associates change the atmosphere for not only each other, but every potential customer that walks in the door.”
“I love working with this company. They employees are very courteous, professional respectable. They’re all around five times star keep the crew you have cause they’re awesome.”
“I’ve made multiple purchases at Louisiana Firearms (LAF) and have been consistently impressed with the personal service from start to finish. The team truly cares about their customers and is always ready to answer questions and provide expert technical and customization help whenever needed.
Every employee I’ve worked with—Gabriel, Colin, Brennan, Devon, and Wesley—is knowledgeable, experienced in the firearms industry, and goes out of their way to make you feel like family. You can count on them for honest advice and reliable service.
If you’re looking for a firearm, accessory, or quality customization work, you can’t go wrong with Louisiana Firearms in Baton Rouge.”
“I recently started reloading. Bryan was extremely helpful in helping determine what I needed as a beginner. He is super friendly and was happy to answer all of my questions. I know I will be patronizing this store for the foreseeable future.”
“I've had Eduardo perform various gunsmithing services for me over the years. His work is excellent and his attention to detail is flawless. The wait may be slightly longer, but the quality is well worth the wait. I highly recommend”
“Let me just put it this way. They had muzzle brakes, NightForce , MDT, DMZ scope rings and a lot of things on sale. This store has a lot in it, I mean things that you usually only can get online. If only I had the money to buy a few things there but my wife needs her face waxed, toes and fingers painted. HaHa!”
“Mr.rich has reasonable hours, a very knowledgeable man, and fair prices. Hard to beat that kind of mom and pop services anymore. Perfect store to visit if you visit baton rouge”
“These are the real experts! Always professional and infinitely more knowledgeable than some kid behind the counter at a big box store. Great selection of cutting edge products as well as unique items. This is always my first stop for pew pew needs.”
“Paid 500 dollars for a T-shirt and they threw in a gun I was looking at for free.
Jokes aside, I enjoy this store and they usually have what I'm looking for. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and fun to shoot the breeze with. The prices may be a tad higher, but you're also dealing with a local store, not a big box, and I'd rather my money stay local.”

“First time here. Had to go through a safety orientation...took less than 10 minutes. Very competitive pricing to shoot all day. Employees were very professional and helpful. Clean up to date range with plenty of AC 😋. Not very busy during the week. Looking forward to coming back often!”
