“I grew up with cost Plus and felt lucky when I moved here that baton rouge still has one. The furniture is so cute and whenever there are issues, they are really good about fixing the problem. They sent me free replacement legs for a chair I bought off the store floor. Funniest cards and World Market is the best place to stop for a last minute gift or stocking stuffers”

“My favorite place- small enough that you aren't overwhelmed like some of the giant outlet beverage stores, but everything they have is interesting and high quality. “I could only get a few things because I only had a few dollars. I have never been there before. I think I'VE been to a Rouses Market decades ago. To be honest I was concerned because many small grocery stores are expensive. I was surprised at how many groceries I was able to buy with only $11!

“What a lovely find in Baton Rouge! I was looking for a place to pick up lunch, the muffuletta was delicious! Quaint little deli carved into this family style grocery store. I could have spent hours in this little gem. Make sure you pick up some of the olive salad, labeled with the Calandro's name. The best around.”
“I went in to cash in a lottery ticket and the ladies at the customer service desk were so sweet that I gave them a tip! This store is smaller than the other Matherne's stores but the don't slack in any area! I love it and will be returning.”

“Cool spot with good selection of everything! Prices vary but that all over nowadays. Got a bottle of vintage wine me and some bourbon I couldn't find at home. The staff was knowledgeable and had a great attitude! Felt at home and will be back in October to see what I can scoop up for my cabinet.”
“Placed an order on Doordash. They were unfortunately out of white meat chicken. Instead of cancelling or just making decisions for me, the store actually called me directly to provide solutions. I know it’s just a gas station but my god is it refreshing to find somewhere with ACTUAL customer service.
Love the food and convenience store has a pretty unique selection of products.

“If you go here to make a delivery you're going to be delivering from outside of the building on Adams. Back in off of the main Street. The streets a little busy but if you're careful it's doable. “This Rouses Market is very large with nice wide aisles. The store is clean, well stocked and neatly organized. Things are arranged by departments making it easy to find items. The hot prepared food section is well stocked and provides seating. A nice shopping experience.”
“My husband and I called around and finally found this place to buy the right size kegs for our kegerator. The guy that runs the shop was very nice. He is a little hard of hearing, which I realized only after I asked him a few questions and he completely ignored me. OOH he didnt hear me, lol. He was very informative and helpful. Will be using them for our kegs until they shut it down. Great selection and willing to order what you want given you can wait for the shipment.”
“Seriously? ??? I stopped in to grab a quick bite and ordered "A" shrimp po-boy with fries. This may have been an order for only one shrimp po-boy with fries but there was enough food for two meals! The po-boy was excellent... Loved the bread. It was the proper kind of bread one expects from a po-boy. The fries were very good, also too. Very crispy but still tender on the inside. I don't know what kind of seasoning they used but it was delicious. And they were not too salty... which for me is very important.
I will remember this place!”
