“The store is stocked full of so many different items. It really is a downtown gem both for the residents of downtown and those who work nearby and need to grab items before hitting the road. The store is usually pretty clean with registers at both entrances of the store. The liquor department is fantastic. they also have freshly prepared foods as well as lots of good produce and meats. There is a small private lot where you can park that is specifically for the sore. The staff is usually pretty friendly, but there have been some less than helpful employees on occasion. I think the later you go, the less attentive they are or the more they're looking at their phones. However, it is a good store.”

“Cool spot with good selection of everything! Prices vary but that all over nowadays. Got a bottle of vintage wine me and some bourbon I couldn't find at home. The staff was knowledgeable and had a great attitude! Felt at home and will be back in October to see what I can scoop up for my cabinet.”

“What a lovely find in Baton Rouge! I was looking for a place to pick up lunch, the muffuletta was delicious! Quaint little deli carved into this family style grocery store. I could have spent hours in this little gem. Make sure you pick up some of the olive salad, labeled with the Calandro's name. The best around.”

“So, we bought a keg from here, but it ended up being bad/flat because of a leak in the keg which wasn’t there fault. The owner let us bring the keg that we already tapped back to get a new one. No other place would have let us done that. So, I appreciated him. When he got the new keg, he let all three of us try it to make sure it was fine. Five stars for this place. Very respectable.”

“Had a crawfish cake po-boy for lunch with cole slaw and it was pretty good! Homemade slaw. Filling cakes. Presentation was nice but closing the po-boy was tricky. the tomato was basically in the way because of it's cut and the size of the bread so take it off, smash that cake in, and it's good to go! The onion rings are shoestring, btw, and are pleasantly seasoned. I don't know what kind of tea they use but the sweet tea is a must. Service was great and I wasn't expecting the restaurant to be as nice inside (thought it was going to be more of a hole-in-the-wall) but really enjoyed the mood/environment. There's a full service bar and a few TVs with nice and modern decor. I recommend going....I want to go again and try different dishes!”

“Calandros carries one of the most flavorful king cakes in the city! They also carry items I can't find elsewhere. Close, convenient, good, fresh meat, fresh and unblemished produce are always available. They also have a great cheese selection and plenty of ready to go foods in the deli. The cashiers are absolutely friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place to shop!”

“If you go here to make a delivery you're going to be delivering from outside of the building on Adams. Back in off of the main Street. The streets a little busy but if you're careful it's doable. And the guys in the warehouse are just awesome! Thanks for getting me unloaded so fast even though you had to do it by hand. Y'all are great!”
