“The birthday arrangement was so colorful, fresh and beautiful - and I sincerely appreciated the extra effort it took to reach my college student (who lives in a dorm that wasn’t easy to access). Many many thanks”

“The only gripe I have is that items I want sell out before I can get to the Perkins store. I would give Perkins Road store in Baton Rouge an A+++. A trip I love to take to buy plants and gardening supplies. Always a great day when I visit.

“Excellent nursery with a wide variety of plants suitable for Louisiana gardens. The staff give excellent advice and recommendations. The only drawback is that they do not have as many types of native plants as would be desired, although they do better than most garden centers. We've had trouble especially finding native shrubs like buttonbush and swamp azalea, which are needed by our local pollinators, although they occasionally may have some.”

“Decent selection. Good lay out of customer spaces. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Not a lot of parking but small group of customers for day and time so wasn't a problem”

“We decided to purchase a new Kubota Track Loader from Derek Matthews. We originally went to another dealership and was unhappy with the transaction and was told that it would take several days to actually get the machine that was sitting on their lot. We called M&L at 1:30 pm. They had the exact same equipment and attachment that we were looking for. As an extra benefit, it was offered at a better price!! Derek could have had everything ready for us to pick up that very afternoon. The whole transaction was done electronically and we visited longer than it took to load the equipment on the trailer.
Everyone at the dealership was welcoming and friendly. And they actually All spoke to us like we were old friends. Highly recommend that if you’re in the market, you go to them 1st. We will be back to make additional purchases in the future.”

“I live in San Antonio, TX and called to see if Home Depot had received any Bartlett Pear Trees. I want to send one to a family member who lives in Baton Rouge. A great associate named "Nicole" went outside (40 degrees) and also inside the Garden Center to check availability. What wonderful service!!!”

“Decent store tucked back behind other store fronts. Unique checkout area that's different than most other HD stores I've been to. Fairly well laid out, stocked well, and predictable for finding what I need. HD still has too much stuff made in China for my preference.”

“First time for me in a Walmart. I loved it, there was a lot of choice. You can find all the typical American products there and there was a very nice section dedicated to local teams: Tigers, Saints, Jaguars. On the other hand, small plastic shopping bags cost money.”

“What can I say home? Depot is probably the most favorite place in the world. I think I could probably sleep there if they would let me. The workers are always super super friendly and whoever they have working the parking lot, keeping the buggies neat and clean, is really on top of their game and deserves a raise. Because other home depots do not have that clean organized. Also, Mr Dwayne is always around to help when needed.”

Was traveling when Home Depot Baton Rouge was on my route, so I stopped for a quick pickup.
