Louisiana Nursery is a locally owned and operated garden center with three locations in the greater Baton Rouge area. They stock a wide variety of annuals, perennials, shrubs, berry bushes, fruiting and ornamental trees, as well as all the necessary gardening products, including herbicides, fungicides, pesticides, fertilizers (including organic options), trellises, and a massive selection of pottery. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, providing insights into seasonality, plant care, and identification of pests or diseases. They also offer potting services and delivery within their service areas.
Customers praise the nursery's great selection, fabulous plants, and knowledgeable staff. Many find it a therapeutic and enjoyable experience to visit the nursery. The executive leadership has also been commended for going above and beyond to help with challenging situations, demonstrating their commitment to the community. While some customers have noted the pottery prices being a bit high compared to big-box stores, the overall consensus is that Louisiana Nursery is a blessing to the Baton Rouge community, delivering consistently healthy, reasonably priced, and beautiful plants.
They have a wide array of vegetation. Will be back again.
