About Varsity Theatre
Varsity Theatre is a historic live music venue that first opened in 1937. It is a cool and intimate space where you can be very close to the performers. The venue hosts great shows and live music, and it is a great place to meet up with friends for drinks and to hang out. Parking options include behind the venue, street side, or on the nearby campus. You can also grab a bite or drinks next door at The Chimes, which has a nice selection. The space is overall good, though it could benefit from improved wheelchair access inside. It remains reminiscent of its long history.

Such a cool and intimate venue. Can’t believe I was 15 feet away from these legends. Parking wasn’t bad,we got there an hour early. You can park behind the venue,street side,or on the LSU campus but make sure to check their free parking hours. Grab a bite next door at The Chimes!

Enjoyed the show! Nest and Down tore it up. Just wish there was better parking for the event.
