“I'm usually not a big fan of guided tours, especially for museums, but this might be my one exception. Grace was fantastic and she's what really made this museum extra awesome. I didn't know much about pharmacy nor did I think I wanted to learn more about it but I was completely captivated by the way she taught us all of the history.”

“I would highly recommend the Canal Street Inn to anyone visiting New Orleans. The location in Mid-City is off the beaten path and allowed us to explore an area less frequented by tourists. Its location also gave us easy access to the streetcar to explore the city. Monica and the rest of the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious!”

“We just got to New Orleans and decided to stop into Sofia for some food and drinks. Our server Tiberius was amazing, we felt taken care of the entire time. The pizza here is to die for, the gluten free crust is the best we have ever had. 10/10 recommend coming in here and if you want great service ask for Tiberius ?”

“It's a cute little gem we found while visiting, and their whiskey collection in the back is pretty good after you walk through their small museum room. It's different from an extensive museum that will take 2 hours or anything like that. It's a small room. The courtyard is lovely. You can enjoy your drink in that area. The space with the bar also has a few seats. The museum is just a roo. m not very big”

“Tony Mandina's has been around for a long time. There is a reason for it. It is still a friendly family owned restaurant. Any restaurant with the owner's sitting at the table in the front with a welcoming smile and under their watchful eye is has great chance of being great.”

“Celebrated my sister’s bachelorette at Copper Vine and we were EXTREMELY impressed!!! The whole atmosphere was gorgeous. We were given a complimentary glass of champagne upon arrival (and there were 15 of us!). The servers were so sweet (shoutout to Brian!). The food was PHENOMENAL! Our group ordered the truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, and the crawfish beignets to start and they were all delicious; I think the favorite HAD to be the savory beignets. The most popular entrees that our group ordered were the shrimp risotto and the chicken sandwich. Explosion of flavors. Zero complaints. Highly recommend Copper Vine.”

“We absolutely loved having our wedding and reception at The Jaxson! The venue is beautiful, and the team is so incredible to work with. They make planning easy, and they take the time to make sure you feel special and taken care of. We can’t recommend them enough!”

“I've been here three times, and each time is better than the last. The NOUS Foundation has programs here and there are some classes you can take through the L'Union Française here as well.”

“The Elms was an unbelievable venue to have our wedding at. We were not sure what to fully expect, as the Elms was recommended to us from our planner, but we booked it without even seeing it ourselves (we live up north). When we saw it the day before our wedding, it totally blew us away. The photos are great but cannot do it justice. Everything was perfectly executed and our guests were in awe. We cannot recommend this venue enough!”

“Fulton Alley was a fun and memorable time had by all. My group of 13 people was pleased with their team's professionalism and personable interactions throughout the entire experience. The team has multiple options of group packages from you to choose including food and drinks. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. It's a go to destination if you're looking for a fun & competitive experience with a touch of class!”

“I have had probably about 4-5 of my kids birthday party here. They make it so easy that you do not have to worry about a thing. You show up, drop what you need off in the front, and you just enjoy your kids birthday party without a worry. It is nice how you get the whole place to yourself. There are plenty of inflatables to keep all the kids busy. The room to eat and sing is the perfect size. They also do everything. I highly recommend Candyland if you are looking for a place for your kid's birthday party.”

“If you have an event in Nola you need to do it at the Firehouse Loft! If you're considering other venues, don't. The venue is gorgeous, the owner and staff are super helpful and the nicest people.Preamble: We live outside Louisiana and were coming for celebration of life for my father, New Orleans style, looking for a venue that would suit the vibe we were looking for. Once we found Firehouse we realized quickly we couldn't do it anywhere else. The Venue: Modern, yet historic. The building is a converted firehouse, as the name implies. Sean, the owner, and his team did a great job elevating the space into something modern and conversational. Every detail was done tastefully, from the art, furniture, to general flow for any event size. They typically are tailored to festive, work or personal, events but even as a celebration of life the venue was perfect. The Staff: Sean and his team were super communicative throughout the process, even going above and beyond in the planning stage and throughout the event and after. They have vendors that support any festivity and can accommodate all price points. For reference, we only rented the space and a bartender to serve wine and beer, but they ramp up options from there.I cannot say enough about both the staff and venue. It is hard to fault the space in any form. The only real criticism I could render is that the space does not have an elevator, which in the case of our party was not a problem but could be if attendees have mobility problems. The space is on the second floor so be aware of that. I know overly glowing reviews typically raise an eyebrow or two, but there is almost nothing to fault and I struggled to find one, so there you go. Again, truly appreciate Firehouse Loft and Sean's team for everything they did.”

“I literally talked to 10+ caterers in NO to cater our wedding before I found Messina’s. All I can say is WOW! The food - DELICIOUS! Lauren - AMAZING! The staff was courteous, professional & simply wonderful! Most of our family & friends were coming from out of town & I wanted a true taste of New Orleans. I could not have expected better!!! Their service was flawless and easy to work with. They had not worked with our venue before but they arranged everything impeccably! Thank you Lauren & Messina’s for making our special day just a little more perfect!”

“Was here a few years ago to meet up with a friend, didn't save it so couldn't for the life of me remember where it was. Happily found it again this Mardi gras/Fat Tuesday night and was more than pleasantly surprised. Eric(k)? Was the perfect bartender - super into the mixology of what would work and I trusted him with 3; cocktails if his own design, each one better than the last. The ambiance was a perfect respite from the madness, great place to reminisce with friends and catch a night cap! And do yourself a favor and ask for the "bartender's choice"”

“A quick safe walk from the over-the-top part of the French quarter, Comedy House New Orleans is chic as heck, full of top local and touring talent, jam packed with laughs.100% recommend especially if you are doing the the "eat as much local food as possible trip" you can easily/cheaply check off all your NOLA food tourism at the pub next door and laugh your way through a food coma during the show.”

“To start, I think my wedding was without a doubt the best night of my life thanks to Latrobe's. To us, the night was perfect. From the champagne skirt upon reception entrance, to the INCREDIBLE food, the staff dancing with everyone on the dance floor, Marte making sure we were always having fun and had a drink in hand, to Rylan at the helm of a second line to end the night. I can't even count how many people came up to us to sing praises of the Latrobe's team, but if I had to guess, it was all 120 of our guests! The Latrobe's team are some of the most wonderful people we've ever had the pleasure of meeting and we will never forget all that they did for us. I truly don't think there is a venue out there that does it better than them. We have had the time of our lives working with these wonderful people to pull off our New Orleans destination wedding and my only wish is that I can do it all over again with them every year. From the very bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything!”

“I planned my bestie's bachelorette party in nola and decided to book a party with Sharon Hart @ Bourbon Street Balcony Rentals for dinner and a balcony experience (located at Cornet). It was the best decision EVER and ended up being my favorite part of the entire weekend. Sharon decorated our dining area with cute Mardi Gras themed masks and beads. We had a private bartender with an open bar (shout out to bartender Shay who made great drinks and blasted Spice Girls for us) and a delicious/simple buffet served by Mr. Reynard that pleased even our picky eaters of the group—he even went out on Bourbon to snap pics of us up on the balcony. Sharon also has a beads supplier who was able to pre-deliver our beads and throws, so everything was setup and ready to go for our girls. The entire party felt like a once-in-lifetime to have the balcony and to experience nola from that vantage point. It was worth every single penny and more. If you are planning a bachelor or bachelorette party... YOU NEED TO DO THIS!”

“Tons of fun to be had at this really cool axe throwing house. I had never done it before so I was a bit reluctant but when my friend asked me to come I decided I would give it a chance and I end up having a lot of fun. Though when I heard the offer drinks I did think that would be a great idea but I did have a margarita and thankfully no-one was hurt and only fun was had. ????”

“Absolutely beautiful venue! Catering people and Bar Tender were professional, friendly and helpful. Food was amazing, my Husband LOVED the cookies, I was partial to the Chicken pasta-really great sauce! Decorations were classy and high quality (not balloons and also not "over the top"). This definitely felt like a first class affair! It's not often I'm thankful for an invite to a party where I knew absolutely no one who was going to be there except my Husband, but this venue definitely made, even me, feel comfortable. Highly recommend!”

“Me and a few of my family members came to New Orleans for the weekend and the Exchange only had 1 open play during the time we were available and it was for Advanced Beginners. Most of us are actually intermediate and when we got there, so were several other players, however, none of us seemed to mind playing with people that were either higher or lower level than us. I think there was only 1 person there that wasn't too friendly. They have a paddle stacking system and open play was on two courts. The staff was super friendly and very accommodating to us. The interior is gorgeous - 6 indoor and 1 outdoor courts, a bar, kitchen, ping pong table and plenty of seating. The inside looks a little small for large parties - outside might be more accommodating. I'm from Texas, so we're used to big spaces! For sure we will be back next time we come to NOLA!”

“Had dinner here on a Monday night. The kitchen was out of several items and the beer selection was down to just two options. While it didn't look like much from the outside, I was absolutely blown away by the food! The chef here takes their craft seriously and you can tell immediately after you take the first bite. The shrimp were simply some of the best I've ever had in New Orleans and the fried ribs are a must if it's your first time. I'll definitely come back here and try the catfish and the wings as well, as it seems like they're particularly proud of those dishes.Really loved the service and the vibe inside as well, the DJ played some great tunes and the bartender went above and beyond to make sure my lady and I had a great experience. Come down to Tulane Avenue and try this great little neighborhood joint!”

“I took my wife to eat here for our anniversary/her birthday. The food was incredible and service was great. I'd definitely recommend The Red Maple, we truly enjoyed it. We normally go into the city which is further away and spend substantially more money but, we decided to try something different this year and we were definitely happy about doing so.Vegetarian options: We didn't eat anything from the vegetarian options but my wife said there were definitely options for vegetarians.Dietary restrictions: Just tell your server about any diet restrictions and they'll be happy to let the kitchen know and are also able to point out options on the menu.”

“Great location for the hotel and updated amenities make it a great option when staying in NOLA. I used the JW during the most recent Mardi Gras. The location right next to the parade route made it a breeze to walk out into the festivities. Great customer service during the check in process and a well-stocked concierge lounge.Walkability: Great proximity to other hotels, good nearby food options.”
