“It was nice wedding set up, but the dance floor was uneven I spent the whole night worrying if I would trip and fall like walking down the street in New Orleans or where I live in SF the sidewalks are uneven. The mansion is beautiful as well as the grounds”

“Wonderful atmosphere, clean and spacious facilities including restrooms, warm & friendly staff & players, skilled pickleball games, and extremely welcoming people are a short list of excellent things to name about this facility. If I were to split hairs and find something needing improvement, I would say that there could be even more courts, and that it’s difficult to get into(because it’s an awesome place to socialize and play pickleball). However, once one secures a spot, get ready to experience friendliness and great competition! I got the pleasure of being introduced to the owner, Renee, and her husband, both of whom were outgoing, friendly, and welcoming! I loved my experience here, and even made new friends! Thank you Exchange for making the best of the unfortunate weather situation, and providing an enjoyable activity in spite of it! There is nothing that replaces the friendliness of good people, and I’m glad to see that it’s alive and well here at The Exchange in NOLA!”

“Really great tour by our guide Carolyn (a volunteer who works Mondays). Not only do you learn about the house but you also learn a lot about the history of New Orleans. The history discussion starts with the land the house sits on being granted to 2 sisters by the King of France and rolls forward from there. Very interesting and highly recommended. Tours begin on the hour.”

“We planned our 100 person wedding in under a year and Latrobe's ensured it was so beautiful, it felt like we'd planned much longer! The space is lovely, location convenient, food/bar options amazing etc. The team are experts at what they do. Rylen, Hanna, Bonnie are all very knowledgeable- you basically get three coordinators for the price of one. Shoutout to Martay for ensuring we were eating and drinking all evening, despite trying to talk to everyone at once!”
“My wife and I held our wedding ceremony and reception at the inn and stayed the weekend with our wedding party and family. It was a perfect weekend. The entire inn was beautiful, the breakfast each day was delicious, and we truly couldn't be happier with how the inn played into our celebration. The all-in-one wedding package made planning our wedding easy and as stress-free as weddings can be. We would do it again in a heartbeat.”

I've seen many shows at San Francisco's Fillmore Auditorium and was happy to see so many familiar touches. From the open floor to the chandeliers to the free posters and red apples. Venue is well laid-out. Excellent bathrooms, merch location, friendly and helpful staff.”
“My daughter attended a 16th birthday party here. It was not the biggest space but perfect for this event. It is in the back of a neighborhood and may be a little tricky to find, but overall, it is a great spot for smaller events!”

“I celebrated my 50th birthday at Prohibition in their balcony room that Bourbon Street Balcony Rental arranged. They were amazing to work with! Sharon was so valuable in planning from far away and the staff at Prohibition was excellent. If I could give 10 stars I would. Such a memorable experience!”
“What an authentic NOLA jazz experience. No photos or video allowed during the show which allows for a present and intentional experience. A didn’t plan ahead and snagged standing tickets a few days before my show. Standing wasn’t bad at all. The show only lasts about 45 mins. If you’d prefer a bench seat I recommend booking well in advance.”

Beware, there are items being smoked inside (everything but cigarettes) so know that your clothes will smell the next day. Or something to consider if you have asthma.

“This place is an absolute gem in New Orleans! I was able to coordinate corporate dinner with the Calcasieu team all the way in Hawaii. I worked with Jacques and he was extremely helpful. Planning out the pre-fixe menu was easy with Jacques’ guidance and help. The pricing was very reasonable. When we arrived on the day of our event, there was a cute tripod sign out on the sidewalk leading up to the event’s site that outlined our team’s business meeting dinner. The location is nestled in between Cochon and Cochon Butcher’s Block. The ambiance of the place is very chic and trendy, but industrial, with the metal and kiln-fired brick look. The lighting is dim, but not too dark. The staff are EXCELLENT!! The day of our event I worked with Aaron and his bartending/server team, Monroe and Nick, and our Chef was Chef Anthony. Everything was PERFECT. From the pre-made cocktails to match our event’s theme, to the delicious pass apps (hors d’oeuvres) that were served to our guests. We had the smoked salmon dip on a kettle chip appetizer that was really tasty! And the veggie skewers that also didn’t disappoint. The pre-fixe dinner menu was a hit among our 26 guests! The salad was really yummy… the light refreshing taste of the dressing was delightful. I had the roasted chicken with sweet potatoes garlic confit and chicken jus that was insanely divine!! I wanted more!!! Others in our party enjoyed the braised beef short rib with mashed potatoes and onion jam. Everything was so well seasoned and delicious! Then the dessert was the chocolate chip bread pudding with a crème anglaise sauce and a pineapple upside down cake. Nothing fell short of what was expected… matter of fact, everything exceeded our expectations to the max! Thank you to Aaron, Chef Anthony, Monroe and Nick for the exceptional customer service! I will definitely visit again when we’re back in NOLA. Thank you all for your exquisite hospitality and amazingly delicious food. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat because it’s THAT GOOD!!!”

“This parrt of the park is really nice with a panteon type building having stone lion protecting it. Some of the trees are wonderful with the moss drape making them look excellent, Near to here is a cafe where you can get really nice pastries (Beignets 3 off served at a time). Watch out though theyhave a lot of icing sugar.”
“Absolutely loved this place! My younger baby had so much fun playing. We went at the 11am time slot on a Friday. They had a couple kids there before us and one that came after. It’s perfect for younger kids who can’t quite play on the equipment at the parks yet or want to stay in the AC. Most of the play equipment is enclosed so you don’t have to worry about your baby falling out. It was very clean Will absolutely be bringing him back!”

The only improvement I'd suggest is BETTER LIGHTING OUTSIDE the Baronne Street entrance. It was very dark and looked closed at the 7pm event start time and was just as dark to exit when the event ended about 11pm. This could pose a fall or personal safety risk to guests.”
