“Best bodega I've been to in 2 years of living in the south. Ever since leaving New York to live in Baton Rouge, one of the few things I've missed was the convenience and undeniable "ghetto" feeling of a orner store bodega. The amount of clutter and abundance of types of products was great, really reminded me of the randomness of a NY bodega, I loved it and will return.”

They also have the #1 spot for your hotel accommodations right behind the store. At AMERICA BEST VALUE INNwith the friendliest service anyone can ask for. They can assist you with your needs for your stay. I can assure you will leave with a smile because of your stay at AMERICA BEST VALUE INN. They located right on side a beautiful historical location. That is in walking distance from HOTEL, CONVENIENT STORE, & LAUNDRY MATT. THE OLD PLAQUEMINE LOCKS. At the locks you can fish with your family and other attractions., i would highly recommend these locations to anyone. They have many ammonites to accommodate your needs in all areas. I give them a 5 star rating an would defiantly return for future stays.”

“This store has the cleanest parking lot around hands down. Trash cans are always empty no debris in the lot etc. I don't know the guys name that works there but he is always out there cleaning. I see him every morning like clock work. That guy is awesome.”

“I use to come to this location all the time when I stay in this area for about 6 years. The new General Manager ( Tiffany ) is doing an awesome job. She makes sure the store stay stocked always friendly & clean. This location was always messy always gossiping and talking about each other. I don't see this when I come to this location once in awhile.”

“RaceTrac in Gonzales is a decent stop for gas, snacks, or drinks while traveling through the area. The store had a good selection, prices were reasonable, and the overall experience was about what you would expect from a busy gas station. “I travel around the country and I always use Walgreens because I know that there will be a Walgreens in any town that I live in whether it's a inner city, suburban, or rural area there is a Walgreens . I've lived in several different places around the United States, and been to several Walgreens. The Walgreens in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on Highland and Airline is by far the absolute best. Walgreens I've ever been in, in my entire 51 years of existence. Every time I walk in the door, everybody says hello welcome to Walgreens and then they add my name to it. I know the night manager very well by just coming into the store, and we have some pretty good conversations along with the Night Shift staff that works there. The pharmacy at this Walgreens is the best pharmacy I have ever been to all the pharmacist knows me, all the pharmacy techs knows me. Pharmacy will call me to review my medicine every six months which I am gladly to do with them. They even caught a medicine that I was taking that with counteracting another medicine that the doctor gave me and they contacted me the next day to tell me about it. will never know, but that could've saved my life. The pharmacy staff is second to none and they do not lie to me either. I understand in a post Covid world that some medicines are not carried in the store that they need to be ordered and will be in the next day. That's just the world we live in now. But they are always honest with me about it . Which I appreciate honesty and integrity which this Walgreens pharmacy and store absolutely has. I am surprised this Walgreens on yelp is rated so low. I go in there at least 3 to 4 times a week for the last year and all I have seen is nothing but a family atmosphere working at this location . I've never seen any guest get upset yell scream or anything. If you're reading this and you used to go to this Walgreens , I'm begging you give it another chance. The people that work there at night because I've never been in during the day are genuine and wonderful and caring individuals. You will be satisfied.”
