The decision was so difficult but, the vet and vet associates were so comforting.When we went to pick up his ashes, they were in a beautiful carved wooden box, I will have a brass plate made to commemorate my sweet big boy.”

“I’m very pleased with the care my cat received at this clinic. My cat had been showing signs of urinary issues. This was my first time visiting Coursey Animal Hospital, and when I called and explained the situation the vet squeezed me in to his already busy schedule. My poor baby was scared and did not respond well to going to the vet, but Dr. Bob did not push him past his limits and only did what was absolutely necessary as to not traumatize him further. Throughout the entire visit I was updated on what was going on and was given an explanation for every action taken. As much as I hated knowing my cat was scared, I knew he was in good hands with a doctor who understood his limits. I can tell this clinic truly cares about their patients - I will continue taking my animals here! Thank you to the staff for caring about my baby as much as I do!”

“My Fur Baby Lena had a massive cyst within her mouth and jawbone. She is only 10 pounds. Her Vet Dr. Sancho..highly recommended Dr Richey & his staff. I cannot even explain (BUT I WILL TRY) - I WOULD NOT CALL THIS A FACILITY ! ?IT IS A HOME?with An Entire Staff that is so understanding, personal, kind, very knowledgeable, & full of compassion. My Lena is home & doing fantastic. Our lives have changed because of the severity of the location of her cyst one fall, playing with the wrong toy or accidentally bumping her jaw could completely shatter the remainder of jawbone. Dr. Richey explained in detail how there was not enough left to attach bone graft. But I will tell you this. They have become a part of our family and will be the first in the event an injury happens. ?HIGHLY RECOMMEND?”

“I moved my 15 year old cats to the care of Dr. Liz Eastin at Old Hammond Veterinary Hospital last year. Dr. Liz is the most compassionate, caring vet I have ever had for my animals. She is hands on from the exam to the lab results. While she has vet techs to assist, she is the one handling my cats. So often she has to employ manual "old school" methods to ensure proper and thorough diagnostics are obtained while still at her office. Her dedication to ensuring the owner understands the tests, results, diagnosis and prognosis is commendable and noteworthy. The stafff at Old Hammond Veterinary exemplify the same level of care and attention. I am so sorry it took me this long to experience Old Hammond Veterinary Hospital, but for any future pets, this will be home.”

“We took our poodle of 18 years in to see Dr Bobby Walsh. I have NEVER been to a veterinarian with more love and patience with our poodle and we as the owners of Maggie. He was very thoughtful of my husband’s pain in making a decision to put her asleep. He explained the options and my husband decided on the treatment plan and we took her home in critical condition. Dr Bobby was so amazing and spent over 1.5 hours explaining and helping us to understand Maggie was at the end of life. We followed his instructions given on Monday and early Thursday morning, 1/25/24 Maggie crossed over the rainbow ?? into Doggy Heaven. She was wrapped in my husband’s shirt he had just taken off and looked very peaceful at 6:00 a.m. this morning. She gave my husband so many years of unconditional love and companionship. I suggest Dr Walsh for your pet needs. He is so patient, kind and considerate of the pain involved with the parting of a pet. Thank you, we planned to bring her in today to put her down as my husband realized she was in pain. Thanking God she went peacefully during the night.\nOnce again thank you Dr Bobby Walsh you amazed us with your kindness toward us and our Maggie. I will praise you to all pet owners,\nYou came highly recommended and you were amazing. Thank you John & Althea Everett??”

“Animal Health Clinic has been such a blessing! I adopted a senior dog two years ago who was very overweight and had a plethora of other issues that accompanied his extra pounds. Dr. Leonards and all of the techs were always patient with answering my questions. My old man did succumb to kidney failure, but the staff was so sweet through the entire process. Since his passing, I got a new dog & taking her to AHC was a no-brainer! The entire staff greets her so excitedly anytime we walk in and they are always ready to help us! There is no better vet in Baton Rouge!”

“Our family has been taking our pets to Crossroads Animal Hospital for almost 20 years now. The doctors and staff there are always friendly and helpful. Our dog loves the attention he gets and all but runs to the door when I get him out of the car. It’s obvious that he loves them and they love him. The front desk staff are fantastic! Welcoming and helpful.Their boarding facility is first class! It’s clean, roomy, has access to an outdoor play space, and is well attended by caring and capable staff. When we are out of town, Crossroads Animal Hospital staff will often text me a picture to let me know my dog is doing fine and enjoying his stay.
