“This Sams Gas/diesel station is always clean. The pumps are usually always in working order. If I had to reach for a complaint, it would be the member, and credit card reader could work a little better. Sometimes, it takes a few attempts before the reader works.”

“Short dark haired women with glasses. The one working there since your adolescence. Well after years of being pleasantly aloof to the fact that I was underage when I did most of my underage drinking. A couple of years ago she saw that I was getting gas with nickels and put 5 in my tank. That did it for me I will always go here no matter what unless of course Dianes is cheaper by 2 cents or more, then I gotta say sorry lady but M.O.B.”

“Was able to go for the .40 cents off per gallon - I frequent here pretty regularly & using the inner circle app I always get great deals . Only issue is there’s a lot of loitering outside of this place but it’s the norm I’m thinking b/c majority gas stations have people hanging out as well. But I think management should address the issue & concerns that it causes . But overall it’s a quick & easy run in & out majority of the time. The staff sometimes can be a little abrupt & rude, almost like they don’t want to be there most of the time .”

“We were travelling through the area, stopped here for gasoline & snacks. Everything seemed reasonably priced. Was easy to get in & out & back to I-12 quickly. Nice, tidy, well-stocked store. Good beer & wine selection for a convenience store. Clean restrooms. Loved the variety of beer singles! Friendly staff. They have the automated checkout machine where you set all your goodies onto a platform & the machine calculates your debt-owed. The cashier person never has to touch your snacks/drinks & you feed your money directly into the machine. Contactless, quick, efficient & seemingly easier for both the customer & cashier. I hope everyone will work toward this high-tech system.”

“Convenient location, friendly staff, nice and clean, (definitely cleanest restrooms on the Northshore), nice selection of everything including beer, wine, seltzers, liquor, energy drinks, novelty candies, fluff gourmet fairy floss cotton candies, Hunts Brothers Pizza, chicken wings, and delicious Crawfish or Pork Boudin, smoked sausage, and Cajun boiled peanuts. They even have the good ice!(iykyk?) for their bagged ice and fountain drinks. Their prices are always fair, the store is always clean, and the staff is always friendly and accommodating. Peacock ? is my store for sure! Locally owned and operated. Support local business instead of big chain stores! Only suggestion I have is bring in an Icee machine instead of Slush Puppies but I still give them a solid 5/5 !”

“Go there every morning for breakfast its amazing but there's one attendant at the register Holly who's attitude is so foul that it alone can ruin your day. She felt the need to scream in my face how inept I was at collecting fuel rewards. I asked her " Why the hell are you so energetic?" and that I would get my gas elsewhere. She called the police.”

“Stopped in to grab me some ice for my up and a coffee , oh and my lottery tickets . The lady cashier was very nice , she was chatting with customers, she greeted everyone as they walked in . Coffee was freshly brewed , I was impressed b/c midday like that most gas stations have old coffee sitting out , I complimented her on that and she said “oh no mam I like to keep it fresh “ locations been there forever just the traffic getting back in to the highway ??♀️ but they don’t control traffic . Great place to stop of passing through need quick gas , snackies etc”
“I know Mrs Sue personally and know the story behind this flipping off photo. This gentleman came in and was rude to each and every employee there. I've known her for years and she takes care of her customers like family. I bring my 6 year old daughter in there daily for her half a small Icee and Mrs Sue is always there with a smile. The other day I walked in and she said " hey Shaun would you like a piece of pizza, we have plenty left over from lunch". Yeah this really sounds like a lady who is a problem. If this guy had a problem the problem was with him and personally I'm glad that pic is posted because he deserves that and more. Even with that she has a smile. Mrs Sue is the best and glad you'll never darken her door again. Good riddance buddy. Oh and for Frank... there is NO pump 11 so maybe old age has kicked in and your dementia getting worse. Or unless you've never operated a gas pump the clerks need a total amount to bill your card genius. If not you'd have to walk in the store TWICE! Wow.”

“Has the best gasoline in town, yet every time I try to pay at pump, the pump card digital services don’t work for any of the pumps here. Everyone has to go inside to pay and I lose my cash back rewards on my Uber app because of this issue of not being able to pay-at-pump. Hopefully this issue will be resolved soon. Great customer service here! ? Great gasoline ⛽️! My vehicle runs the best using this fuel, especially the 87 racing fuel!!! “Generally i love racetrack. However last few times ive been at night they were closed. It used to be open all night now they close at what seems to be various different times randomly. Sign written by worker will say closed and taped on door. Couple njghts ago they were closed before midnight. Other than that no problem. Clean restroom, great employees, good customer service and love to get coffe here the flavors and fixins they have!”
