“I love this store and everything about it except not having a public restroom the last time I went in was very uncomfortable. I have oxygen and in a Walker and they wouldn't let me use the bathroom Even though I begged them. There is nowhere to go nearby either and it's hot outside. I did not have the air to walk to another store. Why can't they just add a restroom for customer's?”

“Friendly staff and a clean, well-organized store with nice fitting rooms. There are shopping carts. I do feel prices are a bit too high on much of the clothing. Yesterday, I put back a shirt that was $8. However, sometimes there are better deals. The infant/toddler selection is very limited, and I’d love to see a better selection of children’s books. Men’s selection seems limited as well, though not as much as the children’s. However, the women’s clothing selection and DVDs/books seem to be pretty good, and with store cleanliness, it brings me to 4 stars.”
“The inventory varies from visit to visit based on the donations received. I was able to find most of the light fixtures I was looking for. The best part of shopping here is meeting the volunteers and employees that work at this location. They are so kind to everyone who comes into the store. They went out of their way to help me get what I was looking for and make the most of the money I had to work with. I left feeling encouraged and uplifted. I would love to volunteer here myself but live hours away in the north end of Louisiana. Please do yourself and your local community a favor and support this store. Volunteer your time. Donate the things that no longer serve you. Shop for the things you need here. It's a great cause that is built on the people who are involved. Thanks for the wonderful experience!”

“I would like to say thank you to the security officer at the Baton Rouge ATS Cortana location. My wife was there earlier today and after she came home she thought she may have lost her wallet there. My returned to check and see if she had dropped it. The security officer took her info. After about 20 minutes he called her and advised he did check the cctv system and gave her what he observed. Again thank you for your professionalism. From one retired security professional to another, you actually restored my faith in security professionals. Lee up the good work!”

“Awesome thrift store. I was surprised to read some bad reviews. I think the pricing is plenty fair. I looked at quite a few items that still had original tags, and sale price was 75% off original. That is standard yard sale pricing. There is an awesome selection of clothing - I could really get in trouble in here! I want to commend the owner, Ms Quana. She has a packed store, customers in and out, and she was by herself. With all that, she still took the time to greet every customer, help those that needed it, and worked on reshelving merchandise too. After speaking with her, I found out she does have about 6 employees, 4 of which are disabled in some way. She is an amazing human being who takes the time to help people that may not get that kind of attention anywhere else. I will definitely return to this store and will be telling everyone I know to be sure to stop by as well!”

“Love this place!! Bought this brand new Ashley Furniture sectional which still had the Ashley price tag on it. It was marked $1,000 resale price. I was given a price of $700 and took it. Works perfectly in our main living room.The first time going there we purchased two pink chairs and another couch. We also bought a beautiful picture which is hanging on wall. All were very reasonable. We furnished our main living room with the furniture from Joseph’s Storehouse. The staff who have helped us each time have been great and also are the reason we have returned several times.To furnish our living room was all under $2,000.We will be back again!!! The brown couch we also purchased from Joseph’s!! Thank you Joseph’s for such wonderful reasonable priced furniture.We also bought this small table that has small storage compartment. This table was perfect for our small sitting room!***We also bought these chairs that are so comfortable that we use on our patio. They were very reasonable priced. And well worth it when we sit on our patio watching our dogs play!!!”

“I love Goodwill! Their prices are a little high for used/donated items but some times the items you find are new and worth a lot more than the price. Plus they also do a 50% off tag by color every day. They also offer a senior discount on certain days and always offer a military discount!!”
