“I went today to get 2 hamburger steak plate lunches and 3 pistolets crab shrimp and crawfish! I’m so glad I went cause EVERYTHING was delicious! U just got a new customer and will definitely be going back to try more food! Very well seasoned!! Great job!! My dad used to go ALL the time and he said everytime he walked in he saw mr don stirring the pots! This was a long time ago! He would brag about mr don and mrs Bonnie and how good everything was!!”

“Don’t let the size of this little neighborhood grocery store for you… They have everything you need, and more! Gluten free… No problem, they have surprise me with a fair amount of options here. The premade chicken salad is my absolute favorite!… And the jalapeño chicken burgers in the deli section are amazing! They have wonderful meat specials every day. The chicken and steak kebabs, and the stuffed pork chops are my favorite.”

“The red beans and rice were tasty, but just mush. No beans in it. I understand different people like different things, I just like some beans in mine.
The burger was delicious, juicy, and a great size. The boudain addition was definitely worth it. I don't know what kind of bun they used, but it reminded me of a jalepeno bun, kinda sweet. I could eat the burger 3 times a week.
The pork chop breading was too hard. I like crunchy, but that was like the wet chop sat in the flour too long type of hard. It was well seasoned beneath the flour though. I would come back for sure.
The service was excellent. It seems like I'm bashing the place but I'm not. EVERYTHING tasted great, there's just some things I like different than others. I would absolutely go back again and again.”
