“Went 40 plus miles to get a McWare stock pot, when I stepped inside for the first time along with the wife, I thought I was in a Christmas Toy store for outdoor cooking and was amazed by the inventory of cookware, I have a few goodies in mind and I shall return. Service was top notch. I approve.”
“I'm ashamed to say I haven't been to a 'mom and pop' hardware store in over a decade. I needed a very specific bolt to fix an issue I was having with my vehicle. I'm not a very handy person & in asking around where I should go to get this part, I was referred to Guidry's Hardware.
I'm glad I was sent there! Upon arrival, I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help finding anything. I told the gentlemen the bolt that I was looking for and he had me squared away a handful of minutes.
The rest of the staff were very courteous as well! I was installing the bolt right there in the parking lot when one of the associates came out and asked if I needed a loaner tool to get the bolt on tight.
I cannot remember the last time I left a store front feeling like a million bucks. These folks really went out of their way to take care of me - all for a $.68 bolt. You just don't get that level of service & knowledge at the big box places. I will be a forever customer now!”
“I live in Florida, but travel through Raney LA. I love this Ace, friendly & helpful staff. In addition they have a big inventory on just about anything you need. If I have a project on the truck, I usually wait until I get to Raney to pick up items that I need. The people are genuinely friendly and they take the time to just talk about stuff. Kudos.”
