Kermit Le Jeune Sausage Kitchen is a long-standing business known for its smoked pork sausage and tasso. Many customers have been eating this sausage since they were kids, for as long as 45 years, and will not buy from anyone else. Reviews consistently call it the best ever made, with the garlic sausage highlighted as by far the best. It is used in rice and gravy, poboys, gumbo, spaghetti, and more. The business is described as having wonderful, helpful, and very nice people, with great hospitality. While the process can be a little involved, loyal customers, even those who now live far away, make trips to stock up or arrange shipping because there is no comparison to others. The place simply rocks.

I have tried a many of sausage, in and out of this area. Le Jeune’s Sausage Kitchen has the very best sausage in my opinion. If you ever, find yourself in the Eunice LA area, stop by and give them a try. You will not be disappointed!
