Went pretty early in the morning to get a few cracklin since they are often out in the afternoon and they were stale and cold. Horrible just throw that away why sell that? Will not purchase here again. I've had other items and they've been decent, but this was just gross.

I ordered a 30-40# pig a week before i needed it for a family event. Whenever I called to ask if it was ready, they didn't have it, but they could sell me a bigger one. Someone dropped the ball with my order. I'll not order from here again.Went in to pickup my pig order, the pig ended up being 58#. $252.00 , $4.09 a pound!!!

Great local meat market. Fresh cuts and great hot and ready boudin, fried ribs, and boudin balls. Don't forget the cracklins and pork skins!

Boudain balls and wrappes tasted old and full of grease to the point of throwing them away after one bite. Sorry but i will spend my money elsewhere. Nowhere near as good as it used to be.

Don't get me wrong because I love the slaughter house but the other day I called to get a meat special and I told the girl that I was going to pick it and she didn't have to rush it because either Sat or Sun would be the pick up day she agreed to it and then that was it until I called Sun and told her I was going to be in there to pick it up but all of a sudden that wasn't good enough for the SAME girl I spoke with the previous call. She stated that they had to throw it because of me and the only way is for me to walk in there and order it and I even offered to prepay and I was told "NO". Wait WTH ?!?!? What kinda special is it if you had to throw it ?!?!? I know meat doesn't go bad that fast so I understand now why your meat was thrown....i definitely was getting the SPECIAL meat (OLD)....Then no prepaying?!?!? Then talking over me I WILL DEFINITELY get this one taken care of because I don't appreciate the way I was treated by that girl and I think people forget about respect these days

Good meats, & fresh as well.Sausage, boudin, cracklins, pork or chicken are all sold there. Several grocery items, sold as well: such as cold drinks, potatoes, onions, & diff staples to put together a complete meal. Today, I bought hamburger meat & cokes. The place is clean & orderly, a pleasant atmosphere to shop.

We are originally from Elton and New Orleans but we now live in Porter Texas. We were in Eunice for a special occasion and after checking out of our hotel we took off for Texas but stopped by The Superette to grab a Fried Boudin Ball to snack on until we got to the place where we planned on eating lunch. So we went through the drive thru and got out pepper jack cheese stuffed boudin balls and took off for Lake Charles. A few blocks away my wife opened the bag to tear off a piece of a boudin balls expecting it to be hot but touched a cold, lukewarm boudin ball. I took a bite of it and it tasted like something from the day before, we put it back in the bag and drove to the restaurant we were eating lunch at, forget the snacks. We were very disappointed. When you go through a drive thru for food you expect it to be hot and ready to eat while driving. We don't have a microwave oven in our vehicle. So that was a fail for sure. By the time we got back to Texas the paper bag was very saturated with oil and good thing it was also in a plastic bag because it would have put oil on everything around it. Oh well, next time we will go elsewhere for a snack while driving or I will install a microwave oven in our vehicle.
