“I see like less than 4 stars on the Yelp review and that’s just ridiculous. This store’s deli and hot bar is out of this world. The boudin they have in the morning is literally the finest breakfast boudin I’ve ever eaten. It’s as if they have a born in the bayou Cajun gentleman in the back using his granddaddy’s secret recipe that he won the National Boudin Championship 11 consecutive years with. The people at the check out are always awesome. This place just feels like a key institution of the community. I love this store. Please disregard any negative reviews. I’d give this place six stars if Google would let me.”

“This store has had a dramatic change in these past 3 months and now it’s enjoyable to shop here. If you would have asked me a year ago to go shop at this store I would have thought it was a joke. This was one of the most disgusting stores in my area. Not only stock but trash everywhere in this store. The floor was always so dirty I didn’t even like walking on it. You couldn’t even push a buggy down any of the aisles it was so piled with boxes. I was always scared to move anything in fear of something falling on me. They are now under new management obviously so go ahead and check them out now. This store is the cleanest it’s ever been. Thanks Dollar General for making management changes because now I can shop at this store again.”
“OMG! This is my kids new favorite place. My husband stumbled upon it one day and now my kids ask me everyday if we can go to "the toy store". They have a wide variety of items. We've purchased a ton too. Extension cords, dog collars, bamboo plants, and of course toys. Everything is really cheap too! It's like a better quality dollar store. My kids also love that they have a lot of different kinds of pop its. I think they have all the ones they carry now. The employees are very nice and friendly also! I highly recommend stopping in. You won't believe the stuff they have!”

“This is my store. Ya know what I mean? The one out of 3 the same distance from my house. The one that has the workers you would totally save in a zombie apocalypse. The grits in the morning slap, always get extra butter! The Greek in the back, phenomenal and affordable. 100% accepting of all people, refreshing in a smaller town. Oh and they got the fancy coke machine ?
Down side my car always hates their gas idk, doesn’t matter tho only fill up at sams anyways.”

“The employees in all of my stores in Ascension Parish in LA...Gonzales, Prairieville, ST Amant...are all very helpful. Please take note that all stores have the same problem. They are understaffed and that does not allow adequate time to stock merchandise. There is always a line and usually only 2 or 3 workers, often including management. It is very convenient for all general needs but not if it's not on the shelves. we have many stores in our area but not enough workers. Everyone agrees on this and I often shop elsewhere because I can see the line before I walk in. In this area, we prefer to shop your stores than larger stores like Walmart.”
“I ordered my son’s birthday cake here this year. Cars Themed. The lovely cake decorator, Jessica did such a great job. I couldn’t have been more impressed. And to top it off, an employee saw me walking out the door with and it followed me to my car and opened the door for me to get it in blemish free!!! 10/10 will recommend to anyone!”
