I feel like I’ve found community here and enjoy coming to the gym everyday. Shanda is the best and is always willing to listen to my thoughts and concerns. The membership is affordable and worth it!”

“Rejoin planet fitness the last six months. Their new location on Airline highway near Florida Boulevard exchange is convenient to a lot of people. However, I wish that whoever actually owns the building would resurface the whole parking lot. It is completely pitted with holes. Several attempts of filling in the holes, but with the amount of traffic this location gets they just pop up again and it's like driving through a whack-a-mole course. Don't think I can blame planet fitness themselves for this problem, it's my understanding from talking to the staff that they just lease the building and the owners are responsible for the parking lot. It's a shame, it really takes away from the pleasure of visiting this location.
Oh, and I miss Donald the trainer. I was told that he had moved out of town, but he was super friendly and helpful whenever I had questions and even went out of the way to help fix minor issues with some of the machines when the cables would get snagged so they didn't have to put in a maintenance order which took put in a maintenance order which otherwise would take weeks to get the piece of equipment back in operation. Since Donald left there is a leg lift machine that has been out of service for 2 and 1/2 weeks and no update from the staff as to when it's going to get fixed. That kind of thing didn't go on when Donald was there.
Still, planet fitness is a great place and they keep this location very clean inside which I appreciate.”

“This was our first time at this specific Planet Fitness and it's your typical Planet Fitness. In the beginning, it appeared that there may be a problem with one of the employees, however, there was not. I'm glad it worked out, because I was totally prepared to call the corporate office.”

“Very Clean, Easy Parking And Handicap Accessible, C B Pennington Jr YMCA Has Programs For All Age Groups Including Senior Citizens. The Staff Members Are All Very Friendly, Helpful, Knowledgeable And Professional. Last Year When Several Schools Closed Without Any Advanced Notice To The Parents And Guardians, This Particular YAMC Stepped Up And Accepted The School Children. Especially The Lower Elementary And Middle School Children. Also This YMCA Had Staff On Hand To Provide Age Appropriate Activities For These Children. Therefore A Lot Of Parents And Guardians Were Able To Go To Their Jobs And Work Their Schedule Shifts. I Would Definitely Rate This YMCA 10/10. "Definitely A Great Asset To The Community Especially In A Time Of Need".”
“I am not exaggerating when I say this gym has changed my life. The trainers are all top notch people. The fact that the workouts are all scaleable meant that I was challenged from day one, but also never felt like it was so over my ability level that it was impossible. Probably best of all is that the community is unmatched when it comes to the level of support, encouragement, and fun. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!”

“Great local gym, usually empty at 5am, there is usually 5-10 pupils here at this time. Consistently the same people, so it's not crowded. Clean and spacious, the only downside is that the plates are usually re-racked with mixed plates. (5's,10's, followed by a 45's)
But overall good gym.”
