The only 'negative' is that the lighting is very dim at night so it always looks closed. And because it looks closed there's hardly ever any cars in the parking lot at night which definitely gives the impression that it is closed. (Self fulfilling). I'm willing to bet business would at least double, if not more, if the signage on the building was very bright and the parking lot lit up.”
“Store is always stocked .The Cashier Jayy was Very Helpful Friendly and Spoke to everyone.When I checked out asked How are you today.Then when finished said have a Nice day.The Manager on duty is pretty much always there when I go.She is short wears glasses didn't get her name. “I love coming here. My list has 4 or 5 items on it, but somehow I leave with 3 times that. Still a great deal, even though it's actually $1.25 and up. Hallmark greeting cards are the best deal in town.”
“Family Dollar make me holla!! Imagine my surprise and delight when I was leaving the Red, White and Blue thrift and I look to my right I see a brand spanking new Family Dollar! Awesome! I'm always happy to see new businesses in this little plaza, so I popped in to see what they had to offer. Don't get confused- "dollar" is in the name, but this isn't a dollar store, per se. However, they do have a lot of discounted items at low prices and they do have their own "Family Dollar" brand items for...your guessed it...a buck! They have a wide selection of typical household items, makeup and other things like that. They also have a few basic grocery items like milk, bread, cereal, boxed stuff, ice cream and frozen items. I do like that they have their own equivalent of name brand items, so that's good if you're in the mood for something on the cheaper side.”
“My only complaint with this store is,they never have any soap powder at all. The shelves are empty everytine I go which is once a week or more. Other than that I have no more complaints.”
“Dollar General is just a quick stop store after all but today was just a very good Dollar General shopping day. I went there for a few 'on sale' items with a good 'on sale' price. What made this a five-star experience was an employee who went above & beyond the normal quick stop employee to help me find some of the items I wanted. She, 'Xanna' I believe, is well invested in doing a good job for DG. She was genuinely friendly, well spoken, knowledgeable about where items are located, and willing to help. She not only knows where the items were located, she walked me to them. Thank you Dollar General. I wish you had more employees with Xanna's work ethic and intrapersonal skills.
A Month Earlier...
Dollar General did not have sales flyers at their stores this week and the online app did not post the sales flyer either. I contacted their online customer service, and they wanted me to pay $55/month for an answer as to why they did not have any sales flyers either at stores or online!”
