938 Hancock St, GretnaMy toddler and I dined in at lunchtime this week, and I was surprised by all of the options available at this cafe! Hen House carries lots of delicious and family friendly options, and gluten free too! I’ll be back again and again for the chicken salad salad!
The staff made us feel extra welcomed and supplied us with coloring sheets and crayons - extra helpful! We’ll be back to try more of the savory and sweet treats you have to offer at breakfast and lunch.

714 1st St, GretnaI ordered the blackened catfish with Cajun rice, and the seasoning had plenty of flavor without being overwhelming. We also shared an order of fried pickles that came out hot and crispy. The outdoor seating by the water gave the meal a relaxed feel, and it was an enjoyable place to spend a leisurely afternoon.
