Mike’s Golden Cleaners truly goes above and beyond for their customers. Their service is always reliable and professional, but this experience really stood out.
I accidentally missed their closing time while trying to pick up my husband’s suit for a wedding. Michelle, the owner’s wife, was kind enough to come back when they were already closed just so we could get the suit in time. That level of generosity and customer care is incredibly rare and so appreciated.

As far as customer service, convenience, and results with cleaning This is the best one. They even give you light medium or heavy on the starch options. The prices are also very reasonable. “This is the average un-staffed laundromat. Everything seems to work fine. It's a little pricey, $4.50/single load, $6/double, and up to $11/yuge. There is a ATM that gives $10, and a quarter dispenser, and the double load and larger machines will take cards or quarters, the single load washers and the dryers are only quarter operated.”

We sent my wife's wedding dress to be cleaned before the wedding and the finished a day faster then expected. The also pressed my new suit and a few extra shirts for a reasonable price. Her dress and the 2nd dress for the reception were priced a bit high. But I guess that's the wedding markup.

“CLOSED ON SUNDAY'S You'd think I remember this by now but my internal errand clock wants me to keep driving out here just to be disappointed. The reason I keep coming back is because the ladies working the front are so sweet and friendly. Today we chatted about Blockbuster and how parents used to leave their kids there for a bit to roam around (ie get a break from parenting). Prices are more than fair and my dry cleaning always comes out perfect. The turnaround time is decent and more importantly it's a local joint. For them being located in Uptown, you honestly can say they have competitive prices. “Not the best, but good enough.The place wasn't the cleanest and the temperature of the entire store was crazy high, I'm not even sure it has a/c, and the fans placed around the store only move the hot air around. But as far as a laundromat goes it works. Prices were reasonable and machines worked well. Had a few out of order machines, but they were labeled. There even was a vending machine with soaps and fabric softeners. Overall, it was good enough to get the job done. And I would go again.”

“Fixed my favorite shirt that was literally in taters. The collar had fallen apart and I didn't know if it was salvageable. I showed up and the shirt looked brand new. I have a lot of memories in this shirt and I'm so thankful they took the time and care to fix it so thoroughly. I would have paid quadruple what they charged. They have made me a customer for life. I have used them multiple times for dry cleaning. No issues.”
