“I'm learning to draw and I was asked if I needed help, and got some pretty good recommendations on which book to choose. The staff member was very helpful.”
“So glad we found this spot while visiting NOLA! The space itself is cool (an old church), and the staff were really kind and helpful. They have a little bit of everything, so it’s a fun place to explore if you’re an art supply fanatic like me. I wanted to pick some Holbein colored pencils, and the folks behind the counter gave me a few to test so I could decide. Highly recommend stopping in!”
“We ordered 30,000 beaded necklaces for a parade. Their customer service is absolutely amazing. They found a better shipping option after I had already purchased everything and I had already agreed to the shipping cost. They saved us $300 on shipping and instead of secretly pocketing that money like most businesses would, they refunded me the money. That says A LOT and they will be our go to supplier for all of our parades in the future. Thank you!”
“For being small this place has a weirdly large selection of art and craft supplies, like it isn’t constrained by normal rules of space and volume. It’s a lovely little place to get a few supplies you need to finish a project or a gift for someone, and prices are pretty reasonable considering it’s not a big box store.”
“I had a great experience ordering custom framing. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable - Amber helped me pick things out and was sooo patient - they also called and kept me updated throughout the process. I ordered 5 frames of varying sizes and color schemes and all arrived as requested and look great. Can’t wait to FINALLY hang up my degrees properly. I will definitely be back!”
“I love this Michael so much! They are always so kind and helpful with all my crafting needs. Unique and Taz and Uri totally made my day today! Highly recommend this Michaels on Claiborne!”
“I am not a crafter at all, went in and selected material I wanted to have some chairs covered. I brought my fabric to the lady gave her the measurements and she asked how many chairs I was covering. She cut the fabric, gave me my slip, I paid and went about my business Brought the materials and the chairs to be upholstered to my person and the cut was on the $$$. That lady knew her stuff and I didn't have to make a second run”
