“BERNARD’S CAR CARE
We live just a few blocks away, which obviously is very convenient. Doesn’t matter though b/c I’d walk 30 miles to get my car fixed over at Bernard’s Car Care as they are Very Good, Honest, and Transparent from start to finish (I know honesty and transparency as I am an experienced human lie detector - call it career experience) but most of all Bernard’s Car Care is Affordable. I am telling you from years of experience in using them as I’ve had everything done to my cars over the years from a simple brake tags, pulling nails & screws out my tires, charging my A/C w/ freon to extremely complex engine work and they have never, ever let me down. Having a very reliable mechanic in the neighborhood reminds me of how things used to be growing up old school. It sure is quite refreshing! This reminds me I’ve got to call Cris to schedule my Camry to get new fans installed. So if you’re needing any kind of car care service see Chris and tell him that Randal Nicoll sent you b/c I promise you will not regret it. Stay Safe and keep Motoring.”

“My 3 time here & every time I’ve come I’ve had a pleasant experience. Came in with no appointment and had 3 guests with before me and still was accommodated and received speedy service. Bryan assisted me with putting air in my tires, locating the issue, and providing me with a reasonable resolution. Harry was very friendly and worked fast & efficiently. Super happy with the service, will definitely be back, and highly recommend !”
“Little dated setup with regards to their pumps; I was visiting from DFW for a NFL game. Overall ok process on a Sunday night which I thought would be dead but actually fairly busy. I would be curious how backed up this place might be during the week. But Costco is always great. Hope they expand their presence in LA. I was kind of shocked when I realized there was only 3 locations in the state!”
“This is the only place from which we buy gas. The City of Kenner screwed the pooch when some genius messed up Williams Blvd. I have a good idea as to WHY they removed the turning lane and cut most of the Left turns. Unfortunately, it makes it harder for The People to get to businesses, such as STAR.”
“What is concern oh my God we went there twice in 2 days. I'm from New Orleans but I haven't been there much over the years. Was there visiting family. The last night there and also on the way to the airport we stopped there to get poor boys and red beans and rice. 16 in shrimp poor boy and oyster poor boy $9.99. you could also get the small round bun sandwich for $4.99. piled high as good as they get. Got to love those golf shrimp. Very nice people and a fantastic sandwich. We sat at the waiting area to board our airplane and ate our sandwiches. Still dreaming about those sandwiches!”
“With lanes that can service tanks on either side of your vehicle, SAM'S CLUB Gas Station has arguably the cheapest prices in town. Just be patient and the lines move pretty smoothly. Just remember, some vehicles have large capacity tanks and take longer to fill. All you need is your SAM'S CLUB Membership Card, your debit or credit card and you're all set to begin pumping. THERE'S NO ATTENDANT MOST OF THE TIME AND YOU CAN'T USE CASH!”

“I'm hopped up on about 19 cocktails so take this with a grain of salt, but the meat pie and fried chicken had absolutely no reason to be as good as it was. The pie was delicious and well seasoned while the fried chicken breast was crunchy and juicy. So good I got back to my hotel and had to write this. Service was super nice too.”

“I get my gas here, and they have replaced my battery 2 times now. The mechanic is reasonable, and he’s a good hang while he’s getting your car going again. They were able to warrantee my battery the second time, and they made it very easy. I will be returning for gas and service as long as I live nearby. Notable also, the store has a surprisingly good snack and drink selection for the the small space.”
“What I don't like about this Sam’s location is the lack of traffic control for getting gas. They need to make the lanes on the side nearest the store exit only - do not enter signs on the pumps. Or at least make it a one way.The Store is very nice. Validates the Sam’s card, clean, friendly and helpful when requesting help.”

This place can use a little bit of a lesson about customer service instantly ?. But the pizza station is slow and the taste is amazing ??. They even have Philly cheese steak po-boys! Clean bathrooms, cold coolers, several gas pumps available Louisiana lotto scratch-offs, and Powerball tickets available ATM inside the store. Local tasty treats are also a big plus gas prices are some of the cheapest around. Air and water machine on-site employees are friendly store is very clean are the restrooms open 24/7 located just off I10 South at Causeway Blvd quick and easy to access quickly to get back on the road. In need of gas don't take the South exit gas is way more expensive.”

Seriously, it rivals some liquor stores. I swing by here multiple times a week on my way to work so I thought I would finally leave a positive review.”
