Very friendly and if you're looking for something most will stop what they're doing and actually take you to the location of your inquiry not just point and leave you to your own devices. They have a self checkout system but there are people there to assist you. They will actually cheerfully assist or check you out if you need help.”

He said it will only take me a few minutes to show you where you need to go and then I can go to lunch. That was true customer service. You don't get that too often these days.”

INITIAL PROBLEM:
If I could give zero stars, I would. Do not order online and have it delivered to a store, especially the HD in Elmwood; you’ll be waiting forever. My purchase, almost $300, was to be delivered between Monday - Wednesday. I called 4 times. The item is at the store, but no one in receiving is bothered to check in the deliveries. Surely if it were their purchase, they would be more willing to do their job. And whoever is manning the phones at HD is extremely unhelpful.

I’m changing my review to 5 stars! After posting my initial review, receiving a reply from HD, and filling out the grievance form they attached, HD made it right. THANK YOU! I reordered my item after canceling the first one, but lost my $15 promo. HD reinstated the promo code and I’ll receive my saw by Friday. I’m very grateful for the intervention!”

I love the non-frantic environment here, compared to the competitor's store. I also like cruising Lowe's Garden Shop and Outdoor Furnishings department. I've discovered cool, new-to-me succulent varietals, and the selection of pots & accessories is superb. Décor is fab, also.
What I do not like here are the mandatory self checkouts! (I don't go to these stores to work. ? I'm here SPENDING money.) Fortunately, this week's trip for garden risers was salvaged by a pleasant & professional young man who rang me up at Self-Service himself. Kudos! ??????”
“I’ve been visiting this Home Depot for the past month. I’ve found the majority of the items I’ve needed. Staff is good. Some are more helpful than others like Angela for example. She helped me a lot and even went back and forth to different aisles trying to find what I needed. Efficient people like her are always needed. Pro services are very efficient too when it comes to phone sales. Bathrooms are always clean.”
“You are completely on your own here. Employees will actively duck you, or pretend that helping you find something is the worst possible thing you can do to them. Unless i need to actively shop and put my eyes and hands on a product, I just order it for pickup. This makes it easier because you just have to walk in and stand there for 20 minutes while you are ignored by the employee playing facebook. I think it would be a cool place to work, but maybe I'm underestimating how bad a job working for a giant American corporation really is.”
