The wicked man does deceptive work, But he who sows righteousness will have a sure reward. -Proverbs 18:11
We are more than unhappy with the work and treatment from the owner Paul at Crescent Foundations.
We had a total loss fire in January 2024. What wasn't totally burned was met with fire department water, ash, & soot from the fire. We were able to salvage some things without contaminates. Most people do not know soot & ash are acid & contain harmful chemicals. Chemicals that can cause cancer! It's a carcinagin!!!! Paul is ok with putting other people's lives at risk by selling & reusing things. He even mention once giving his daughter a chair we had that was "ok". It has soot and ash on it. What female (especially daughter!) wants a carcinagin laced chair to lay their chest on?
Let me take you thru his spill, after signing the contract Paul will ask many times to go thru your property looking for combustibles, ok that's fine. But what he is really doing as well as his guys is checking for things to salvage and take for resale or let his workers take. He also sends in guys that take down security cameras. Seriously?
During one visit with him to my property, we discussed what he was interested in taking like certain pieces of metal like copper wire & AC compressors, metal stands for AC compressors, you know scrap metal. Cool. But what he doesn't tell you is he actually won't call you, won't text you, & just doesn't notify you when he is going to start the demo. AND he wants all of your stuff! All of the items you've spent years buying, using, & after a large fire you & your wife just want gone to the landfill. All of it!
Another day he again goes & takes down my security camera! I call after I see someone cutting the AC & knocking it onto the ground. I called him and oh, demo is happening! What, but we haven't agreed on a date! I'm not even there! He just smashes a hole in the front of your house, he & his workers grab whatever they can & throw it in their trucks & trailers after he & I explicitly talk about certain things he can have & everything else going to the landfill. Ok fine, you put things in your truck & are going to dump it. I call him after the leaves & just to check, hey that stuff you & your guys took are going to the dump right? Oh yes Mr. Gray, nobody is going thru your stuff. Then proceeds to tell me he has to go and call me back because people are waiting at his office. I wait 5 min, 10 mins, 15 & I call. No answer, call again, no answer.
I decided to drive to his office/scrap yard & he sees that I'm there and he is deer in the headlights look. He & his wife were going through the items he explicitly told me were not going to be gone thru and would be thrown in the dump. I asked him so what's going on Paul and he just started apologizing. His wife asked, what is he talking about? And of course he didn't tell her what we had discussed. After explaining to her what Paul & I had discussed, she helped me bag the things back up & said we will make it right. We bagged everything back up, the toothpaste, the shoes, the dresses, the bras, at least 6 bags of things, all covered in soot & ash from the fire we had at our home, they were going thru there and carried them to the other pile. She apologized & said he would make it right. I was like ok, this is moving in the right direction.
Fast forward to today, the day after the events above, Paul shows up with the trailer and everything is still on it but 1 bag contents in particular was not as it was the previous day. Also, he did not get everything back from his workers. They apparently refuse to bring the items back. Paul refuses to come to the job site. He refuses to answer the phone when I call (which is par for the course). Yes I'm literally on

Do not ever hire this man or his company to do work for you! I'm writing this review after we asked for our property to be returned in full and noticed several items that were not returned. Please let our experience with this company be a warning to you. We asked them multiple times to call us before entering our property after our house fire. First time, he doesn't call and has a man enter our house. My husband proceeded to talk to him through our security camera to find out who he was after we had problems with looters. The man instead of identify himself and the company he worked for decided to removed the security camera instead. We found out from our neighbors who was there after the security camera was removed, and my husband called to let them know they better have that security camera re-installed immediately. What legitimate business comes on someone else's property and removes their security camera?! Then we noticed again someone at the house on our security camera. This time ripping the air conditioner off the back of the house to take. Once again, never called to get permission to be there. We had no idea who was there taking our air conditioner. Said he got the permit and just decided to demo even though my husband had told him multiple times not to demo unless he was personally there on site. The guy never even called to set up a demo date or anything. Just started demoing without permission to be there. You realize you were trespassing correct because you did not have permission to be there?! Then when my husband told him he would be there in 1 hour to not start demo, his men took it upon themselves to rummage the house and take whatever they wanted even though my husband before we signed the contract had asked him and his company not to take anything from the house. He verbally said he wouldn't. That was important to us, and we would have NEVER hired anyone that didn't agree to this as it was important to us. Not only that, when my husband confronted him about it, they still refused to return what they took in full. Yes we have pictures and know what was not returned. Just know this business is the lowest of the low. I feel like all he cares about is how he can use your unfortunate situation to make a quick buck. I honestly hope this review prevents someone else from going through what we went through. You really should feel terrible about what you did and how you operate your business. Sure goes a long way if you ask for permission before just talking stuff, just food for thought.

Paul and his skilled demolition crew were professional from start to finish. They provided vibration monitoring to ease the concerns of the neighbors. They left a clean neat lot, even repairing some pavement that was inadvertently broken during demolition. I highly recommend Crescent Foundations LLC.

This company is tearing down a house on our street. Their trucks have left tons of and chunks of mud all down our street. Instead of leaving the trucks on the street and using a front loader to excavate the debris to put in the trucks, the trucks ride onto the muddy lot and then drive away leaving our entire street full of mud from the wheels, and causing dirt and debris all over our cars. I would not use this company. Many houses have been torn down in our neighborhood and we have never had an issue like this

April of 2021 my legally parked truck was struck by a runaway trailer with piling cuttings loaded onboard. The trailer was not properly secured to the contractor's truck which hit a hole in the road making the trailer disconnect from the vehicle. The truck was owned by a subcontractor working for Crescent Foundations. This subcontractor had and illegal plate and no insurance on his vehicle, and the trailer was owned by Crescent Foundations.Crescent Foundations refused to accept liability for the damages caused to my truck or to the other vehicles destroyed by the trailer.Crescent Foundations stated that they were not responsible but their subcontracted driver was liable. As of Apr 2022 still no resolve by this shady company!

He cost me more , by not being honest with my estimate. I told him how high i wanted my house instead of telling me the plans were wrong, he played me and put in the wrong size/depth pilings which cost me 5600. extra. Then I ask him for some free river sand 2 -12 ft trucks and he brought regular dirt with torpedo grass. Very knowledgeable and engineering company said his work is good, but he is dishonest and misleading.
