One star but they don’t deserve that, they gave me a quote for the third vehicle and when I wanted to pay it was double the money , they still took the payment,when I asked them to cancel it they canceled the whole policy for the other vehicles too that’s been on the policy for months now and I didn’t know anything about it. Now two months later I get a letter from DMV of course regarding penalties for driving without insurance, on the top of that GoAuto didn’t refund they money for the vehicle that I didn’t want to add to the policy and they didn’t refund the money for the my policy that they cancelled. For the last week the same lady in Kenner office that made this mass been telling me that they have an IT problem and they cannot refund my money at this moment and I have to wait ,yesterday she told me that they only have one IT guy working , her over-writer is never in the office, she always has the same robotic answer “I don’t know, u have to wait, we know it’s been two months but it’s nothing we can do” and of course she does nothing. Very unprofessional and unhelpful. I been going to that office every day for the last week, I don’t think she is telling the truth.

These people DO NOT pay their claims! If you are involved in an accident with one of their insureds, make sure you take photos and do your own investigation because they look for reasons NOT to pay. They tell you one thing and do another. You have to call them for updates and they WILL leave your car in a storage facility and rack up the bill, only to tell you they are NOT paying it!

I was struck by a GoAuto Insurance policy holder on 30 October 2021. The policy holder was found at fault by the Louisiana State Police. My vehicle was badly damaged and I was injured. It took over 1 1/2 years for me to recover from my injuries. At that point, I contacted GoAuto about obtaining fair and reasonable compensation. I was informed that in Louisiana that the statute of limitation to obtain compensation is 1 year from the date of the accident and that since that deadline had expired, GoAuto would not pay out compensation, justified or not. While I understand that GoAuto is no longer legally required to pay me compensation, this fact does not stop them from paying justified compensation. Doing the correct thing is not determined by a legal deadline. If at any point you find yourself injured in an accident by a GoAuto policy holder, immediately seek legal council and immediately file a lawsuit against GoAuto to ensure you receive fair compensation.
