Dishonest and tries to take advantage of people. Stay away.
My wife went there the day before Thanksgiving 11/27/24 to have a tire checked that had a slow leak. They drove her vehicle in and removed the tire to inspect it. They tell her that her tire has a puncture near the sidewall and that it cannot be repaired. Then they tell her that the tire brand and size that came on the vehicle are discontinued and he was able to find one in Metairie for $1100. That’s for 1 tire. This is a 2020 vehicle with 18k miles. After they tell her the price for one tire they then tell her that both of her front tires are worn and need to be replaced and they could put a pair of Goodyear tires on the front for $600ea. She told them to put the tire back on and that she would not pay that for 1 tire. So for 3 tires, 1 being $1100 and the other 2 adding up to $1200, that would be $2300 for 3 tires.
I ended up taking the vehicle to the dealership we purchased the vehicle from and they removed the tire and said that a patch that was put on a couple years ago started to leak again. They put a new patch on, and the tire was perfectly fine. I asked the service manager to ask the mechanic if there was a puncture near the sidewall and they said no. The tire has been holding air fine now with no issues ever since. That was three and half weeks ago. On top of that, the front tires were inspected and were no where close to needing replacement.
I cannot recommend a place like Goodyear by Espalnade Mall for any type of work if that’s how they treat customers. Please stay away from them.

This is not my usual goodyear. But then again, I can't control when I get a nail in my tire that causes a slow leak.
I figured they would honor the warranty agreement like the usual place. Next thing I know, it's no longer a simple patch job.
They are telling me the tire covered by warranty, will cost $80 to completely replace....for one nail.
Then they tried to further up-sell a replacement for all four tires at $400 bucks.
What a con.

On Tuesday, October 1, 2024 I, Elise Hebert, made an appointment for an oil change and tire alignment at 1301 32nd St Kenner, Louisiana 70065. The appointment was for 4:00, and I arrived on time. Upon arrival I was told that they could not do the alignment because of the time. It was stated “we don’t do them after 4:00.” I asked what was the point in me reserving an appointment to be told that they would not do my alignment? I then opted for the Smart Tumbler air conditioning treatment and waited about 15 minutes after the oil change was complete, at which time a gentlemen came to me and said “my manager said we will not be able to do the treatment because of the time.”
I understand that they are tired or want to go home, but it should not be at the expense of customers that followed proper protocols to include making an appointment. Then to tell me that they could do my AC treatment only to tell me 15 minutes later that they could not, was an added inconvenience due to unprofessionalism.
I will not be returning. Goodyear is known for offering better services accompanied by excellent customer service in comparison to other companies. But that is not what I experienced today.

If I could less then a 1 star I would. Service manager is a joke. Poor excuse of any form of representation of any sort of organization. His skill set/ knowledge need to be reevaluated.

Went to get tires rotated after an hour was told that they won't rotate them because tires were too worn. Tried to sell me 4 new tires. Bait and switch crooks.

My Goodyear place closed so I went to a different one in Kenner to get my oil changed. I called first to make sure it was a good time to come. Everyone was super nice and I was impressed with their waiting area. They had water, coffee and a Coke machine, even a tv. I was told their slowest day was on a sunday. The wait time was reasonable and I will definitely go back there again.

First and only customer there when they opened. Walk in and the guy immediately said, "I hope that's not a diesel." I don't, but I could immediately tell by hisbattitude this wasn't going to be a great experience. He said he won't be able to enter me into the system because I have a fleet card until later, when someone else arrives. He said it will take a few hours and would not elaborate on what a few hours would be. Needless to say I ended up leaving before getting my oil change and tire rotation.
If you have a fleet maintenance card, beware don't show up there first thing in the morning because they won't work on your vehicle. Also the guy work in the front desk needs some customer service training.
Went to another shop around the corner that was happy to treat me like a customer and gave me zero issues.
I had avoided this place for while after past experiences, and shouldn't have went back.

I had a free Saturday but only me to drive myself around. I made an appointment to get an oil change and tire rotation after seeing this is an option, after all, I would have to wait. My first thought is why are ALL time slots open? This is a great convenience if it really works. This is about 30 minute task so thought I'd try it to see if I could get out in 45 minutes or so.
When I got there, everyone was really nice. However the representative told me that this might take an hour or two. He said "Even with an appointment, we get busy". This was 8:30 in the morning and I know they get busy, but I had an appointment. This is actually what I had expected to happen. After my silent reaction of disappointment, the gentleman also said something like "we'll try to get to you soon". Turns out, they were working on my car about 20 minutes later. This is probably about right as I wouldn't expect that they have a car lift waiting for me. Perhaps I got the first available lift.
I left about 1:20 after my appointment time. They were working on car a little longer than I expected. I suppose that the oil change guy is not necessarily the tire rotation guy and they move from car to car as needed and available. An hour working on my car still seemed excessive.
I'm generally satisfied with making an appointment at least this one time, but I caution others that I am not convinced that an appointment time guarantees prompt service. I was debating between 3 or 4 stars. I gave 3 stars since the time actually working on my car seemed excessive to me for the services requested.

I had a 'tire" disaster early this week....so on almost riding on a rim I took it across the street to Goodyear...I needed new tires so that went okay....drove home..drove the next day and noted the TPSI screen blank.....took it back....the guy says oh its left rear sensor....replaces.still no PSI reading.....messes around with 3 other guys for 45 minutes.....and then says...." Well we don't know what is wrong so take it to Toyota" ......didn't charge for the sensor which was quoted as $169...and today I know why....because my whole system on the Camry is corrupted..now nothing reads....not just the PSI but every other metric is grayed out......so they screwed this up and that is why they didn't charge me.....(Lightbulb goes off!!) Took it to Toyota today and an hour later and $148 later it's all fixed....the whole system had to be initialized and recalibrated......so the moral of the story is ..next time I have a "tire disaster" I will tow my car to Ray Brandt before I let Goodyear lay a hand..
