Truly disappointing in a CU Center. Maybe, it's a southern thing, but I deeply feel that the teller and the branch manager needs to be retrained how to be a better customer service to handle any situation arises. I stopped in to deposit a cashier's check, with no explanations what so ever the teller told me that I need to mail the check to my bank. Seriously? mail the check back to VA? Really? He didn't even bother to take an extra steps to help me and when outside to smoke. Finally, I grabbed the manager attention, asked him to verify with the other CU and called the payee to let him know the cashier's check is REAL! How frustrating that I spent over an hour in the bank just to get a check deposit! The teller should have done his job in the first place or ask the manager for his assistance right then, if the doesn't understand the process. Don't recommend this CU for your bank.

I came here and got money out because it is tied in with my NFCU account so no fees. I took one of the 20 dollar bills which i just got out of their ATM inside to exchange for a roll of quarters and was told they couldn't give me change because i didn't have an account -I didn't ask them to cash a check or do anything illegal just exchange a 20 for quarters. Went to the bank next to them and it was sure no problem

Check my review of the Airline location for more information about Jefferson Financial's "original sin" against me. TL;DR: They refused to assist me with fraudulent debit card transactions until I brought in the NCUA, who ruled in my favor and compelled Jefferson Financial to assist me. Regarding this particular location, the CSRs are extremely surly. I walked in with a single roll of quarters and was refused a deposit because, "We don't do bulk coin." "Bulk coin?" It was ONE roll of quarters. There was nobody else in line. If I walked in at rush hour with 50 rolls of pennies I could see it but what kind of financial institution refuses a deposit in this circumstance? They couldn't even pretend to be apologetic about it, no "Sorry for the inconvenience, is there something else I can do for you" or anything of the sort; the woman went back to playing with her phone before I even left the counter! The rude CSRs are not unique to this location. With the exception of the person who opened my account practically every CSR I've ever dealt with at Jefferson Financial FCU has been rude, miserable, and condescending. I don't know if they're unhappy with their jobs, underpaid, or if they just deal with ill-tempered members all day, but it is no exaggeration to say that the cable industry has better customer service than these guys and the cable industry is ranked the worst industry in America for customer service! If Jefferson Financial is the cheapest option for a loan you may have to consider them but under no circumstance would I take my deposit business to them. With a loan your interactions with them are minimal. If they've got your checking account you'll be dealing with them on a regular basis and trust me, it's not worth it. Find another institution. These guys will treat you worse than an airline treats people flying in coach.

Love this location because it is so close to home! The staff is courteous and friendly. They always go the extra mile for me and do a great job. I feel confident banking with Jefferson Financial.
