This place is definitely open. It looks like it was recently remodeled and they just opened back up.Service was slow even though no one else was in line. I got the 3 entree combo plate. All the entrees taste the same. Really inexpensive for an airport. The dining area has plenty of outlets.

After standing in line for 20 minutes, the staff today let 5 people cut the line in front of me and another girl and then told ME to leave for questioning it. Terrible service. Crazy that grown adults can’t even do their job at a fast food restaurant ??♀️

The food is mediocre, what do you people expect from an airport ? ? LOL... the crew that works there is actually real nice young people and friendly too, they seem to like working with each other and the work flow is good(-_-) give them a break...be kind!

After an hour wait we got to the front of the line and they stooped taking orders. It took half an hour for someone we could see in the back office to come out and take orders. If you're looking for a 1 star experience this is it!Shout out to the cook that kept going and ignored the angry customers who couldn't order. Dude's a machine. The food was fine. I'd go back if I had a canceled flight and hours to waste.

This take out restaurant, at the airport, is open (as of 1/2/2024. I just ordered a "bigger plate," chicken egg roll, and bottle of water from there 1/2 hour ago. Food was good, fairly priced, and you can sit nearby. See photo, server and person at register, and people in line. There was a fellow that served my food, that doesn't appear to be behind the counter right now. Candidly, he was a bit abrupt and somewhat of a sourpuss. On the other hand, the woman at the cash register, who is still there now, was delightfully friendly, and made a point of wishing everyone, including me, a happy new year.

My experience was horrible. The lady serving would not look at me and interacted like I was inconveniencing her the entire time. I order a three item plate, but one item was completely out. I wasn't told the item was out Instead I got a sad not even half scoop of Beijing beef and according to the server "extra" broccoli beef. I wasn't asked what I wanted. I did not want extra broccoli beef, I would have just ordered a two item plate. The "extra" broccoli beef was just two little bits of beef and one piece of broccoli, not even enough for a whole order. Be careful about ordering at this place. Horrible customer service and etiquette.

Workers didn't have any energy, they were out of most dishes, at least the noodles, rice, and orange chicken was consistent with other locations. For being an airport location, price was consistent with outside stores, which was a nice change., didn't feel too expensive.

Located in the airport, this was open on 11/26/2023, not sure why it says temporarily closed.Pricing here was pretty consistent and not too much more than at a store in the NE. Service was slow - they were out of almost everything other than teriyaki chicken and orange chicken, but the flavors were consistent. I've had better service and food overall - the staff seemed tired and not enthused at all about being there.

Would you go to a different airport concourse just for Panda Express ? Chinese food fix Nov 11, 2023, 4:30pmPanda Express located in the New Orleans airport concourse A, in the food court, just to the right of the TSA check. The menu is pretty limited to a few chicken dishes, broccoli beef, one steak, and one shrimp dish, along with 5 beverages. $8.69 for one entrée and side, $10.29 for two entrees and side, and $11.99 for three entrees and side. Side must be noodles, rice, or vegetables. $1.75 surcharge each for the black pepper angus steak and honey walnut shrimp entrees. I check the available food in bins over vats of hot water. The bin of black pepper angus steak is half full and looks too dried up. The orange chicken similarly is only a quarter full.I order the $11.99 three entree serving of kung pao chicken, teriyaki chicken, and broccoli beef, all advertised as 300 calories or less and 8 grams of protein. Add chow mein as the side, as the bin of vegetables is empty, while the chow mein and fried rice bins are full. Associate says no broccoli beef available, and doesn't offer to have a new batch cooked. I take the black pepper chicken instead. The Kung pao chicken comes with the usual red bell peppers and sliced onions, along with cooked squash amid red chili peppers to give it some kick. Only drawback is that there are more vegetables than meat. Much spicier than the Kung pao chicken that I've back home. The teriyaki chicken is all chicken, with a very light glazing of teriyaki sauce over sliced strips of white breast meat. A bit on the dry side, but otherwise good. Will have to order two servings of this next time. The black pepper chicken is largely celery with bits of chicken in a thin sauce. The sauce is so salty as to make the dish almost inedible. My wife tossed this as she's very particular about too salty dishes. The chow mein is thin Cantonese noodles mixed in with slices of white onion. The associates do get it right including napkins and a plastic fork in the take out. There are a few tables in the food court for eating, and probably should have eaten here. 2000 feet walk from Panda Express to United airlines gate C7 in concourse C. $13.42 after tax for the meal, a relaxing change, after paying $51.80 after tip for two omelettes at Flambo Burgers in the French Quarter, five hours earlier.

Sweet people, but the woman serving me did not listen to my order. I asked for cream cheese wontons 3 times and she still gave me spring rolls. Love that they chop the teriyaki chicken fresh for you. Overall I was happy!

This place is not worth even a star. The person who served the food was not attentive and did not understand English well. I asked her what SIDE they serve with entree because I didn't want any rice or noodle. She kept asking back SIZE?? Bowl or plate? Then, I found out by myself that they could do mixed veg. So, I ordered that with stir-fried shrimp and vegetable. When I went to pay, the cashier charged me extra $1.75. She said it was shrimp and premium price. I didn't understand what premium was. She said it was on the board. I went to look at the board and at the very bottom with pale writing you could barely see stating premium $1.75 for steak and honey walnut shrimp. But I didn't order any walnut shrimps!?! The cashier said my dish was shrimp still even it wasn't listed on the board but it was gonna be another $1.75. It was shrimp firecrackers. The menu wasn't updated. This was really upsetting and I saw the charge after I paid. If I knew about this hidden up charge, I would have had walked away. I lost my appetite before eating. Saw there was a line so I just paid and walked away. My husband ordered beef broccoli and noodle. Noodle was out and he decided to wait for noodle. The noodle was cooked in 10 mins. The worst is that shrimp was so overcooked Bc it was left in the steamer so long I guess and mixed vegetables that I ordered as my side was way too salty that I could swallow. It was not just mixed vegetables. It was steamed veggie that was soaked in salt water and kept steaming. Mushy and way too salty!!! How could they sell this?? I gave vegetables to my husband. He took one bite and he spit it out because of salt!!! We are very easy eaters but the money I spent on this meal was a waste!!! Service was not nice! Hidden upcharge price for overcooked shrimps! Waited extra for noodle! Worst experience!! The reason I walked to Panda Express because I was not a big fan of burgers. But if I had known this horrible experience, I would have had Shake Shack with no doubt. Never again with Panda Express!!

The entire team behind the counter seemed like they were forced to be there and couldn't wait to leave, so I knew right away this experience was going to be a struggle. I tried to order white rice with my meal...."we don't have any and it takes 45 minute to cook" I had 3 hours before my flight so I said I would come back. Came back, no white rice. I was informed that they were not cooking white rice today. Ended up getting noodles as my side. Out of soy sauce. When I asked for the teriyaki they had behind counter in small cups to use in place of the soy they didn't have, the woman making the plates actually threw it in my bag with force, as I stood there with my hand out for her to hand it to me. Oh yeah, the sauce busted open in my bag. When I got to my gate to eat, my bag was soaked with teriyaki sauce. Not a pleasant experience whatsoever. Very disappointed.
